billlorentzen
If you have one, how do you find it compared to the onboard pedal? The one I just bought is not smooth - worst action of any pedal I've used, by far. Any fixes?
BillBee
Hey There, I don't have one in front of me but usually these things have a bolt thru on the side which you can loosen or tighten to adjust the tension. I had a Zoom one which would squeek quite maddeningly until I gave it a quarter turn ccw. -B
Brazzy
Yes as BillBee said take some tension off the pivot bolt to get the action you like. It's made like this deliberatly. You'll need to hold both ends of the bolt as there's a good locking nut holding it together.
smrybacki
Mine seems fine, but the other guys have a good idea I think.
Palico
Outta the box mine is a bit sticky too. But it does have a pretty simple bolt on it so it should adjust. I think I'm gonna do that myself.
Brazzy
It wouldn't hurt to lubricate the pivot point with a type lube that isn't too messy for instance a tiny bit of "vaseline".
billlorentzen
Great, that was so easy to handle I'm embarrassed that I didn't see that myself!
Brazzy
Quite a bit of time went by before I adjusted mine, LOL.
