Podxt Tones On Pod Hd

Recommended Posts

Greetings, I'm about to move up from my trusted PODxt Pro to a new POD HD Pro.

It would be keen if I could somehow write my PODxt tones into my POD HD.  1> I could use my old tones while I tweak my new ones into shape, and 2> I could use my old tones as a jumping-off point for creating new ones.

Can this be done - writing PODxt tones into a POD HD - and if so will the results be useful as anticipated?

THANK YOU -- :)

Plan on using your PODxt for the next few months until you get the PODHD sounding like you want.

You'll go through the 5 step program.

1) The PODHD is really cool and has a lot stuff

2) I'm struggilng to get the tone I want and the EQ sucks.

3) I'm going back to my old POD

4) I read Meanbobo's website and I'm starting to get the tones I want

5) The PODHD is incredible

haha this is pretty much it. If it's any help i switched from the pod XT to the HD pro and i gigged with it on day 3. By then my sounds were almost on par with my XT patches. Now, a few weeks later, the XT is gone and my patches are better, especially for gainy stuff. I had a killer clean going on the XT and i've matched or excelled that. I also have separate patches setup for both power amp/cab rig w/out cab modeling (sounds best) and FRFR w/ cab modeling, so if my power amp dies i can go FRFR by changing setlists
