I would update the firmware to the latest version now, using OS 26. It is highly unlikely that there will be any future updates so Intel app compatibility won’t likely matter for firmware. I don’t know about Workbench HD compatibility updates. With your used Shuriken you may also need to pick up or keep on hand an older computer, Mac or Windows, just to run Workbench HD in the longer term if it’s important to you.1 point
