I tried to get the best of my JTV89. This record is made with an Axe Fx Ultra 6505 model. (lot of gain) It happens with gain.(and palm mute) https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/70671746/variax.wav I tried to swap the cable without success. Harmonics sound correct.

I think it would be great to have grouped here all the samples made with a JTV. So if you agree post here your samples and describe your setup.

I just got a JTV89, update it to ver2. I was able to copy the tone of Phil X videos with es335 and les paul junior. I roll back to 1.9 and i prefer ver2.

More detailled tone(V2 is on the right way) + a Varitone. And i would swap my JTV89 for and ES335 shape in the futur. :) So ES335 shape.
