  1. If you can solder, or know someone who can, it may be easier to make up your own. Wouldn't cost a lot. 1 x TRS 1/4" Jack 2 x TS 1/4" Jack 2 x 6" of Shielded stereo cable. 1 x hour of your/their time.
  2. Yeah, be nice if the loop allowed boost as well as cut. You would have thought it would be simples but hey, I don't design firmware for a living so what do I know. On the sucky thing. Fair enough, if you hear it - you hear it. Might be worth checking. 1) Inputs: I run mine as input 1 = guitar, input 2 = Variax. If you don't, it might be worth trying. 2) Input Impedance (system setting, set per-patch). I tend to leave mine at the default but it can have an effect on the tone so it might be worth playing with. Higher impedance settings tend to give a harder, brighter, more focused tone and it is a taste/guitar thing. 3) Input Pad switch. I tend to run mine with the Pad switched on so that, if I plug in a weedy single coil guitar, I can turn the pad off and bring the gain levels closer to the meatier humbuckers. I think it just cuts gain but it may be worth fiddling with. Some people have gone so far as to include a line box between the POD FX Send and Amp input to try and sort out any impedance mismatches but I don't know if that would help you. Luck. JIM
  3. Has anyone figured out whether you can create a document in the new forums yet? I think the documents in the old forum (e.g. the 4CM document that I created) are now locked, as I understand it. I don't have a need to maintain at the moment but I am wondering if we have lost the ability. That would take resources off site and this risks link-rot
  4. Listen to IncredibleOLF! If you plug your power amp into your POD using the speaker jack you will destroy the pod. I think you are misunderstanding how 4CM works. Take a look at the document here for more information --> http://line6.com/support/docs/DOC-2522 What you can do is plug your pod into the power amp input. This is a standard setup with POD, used with the 'Combo Power' and 'Stack Power' modes.
  5. Cause damage, no that is unlikely. however, by setting the loop level to 'line' you often hear additional background hiss compared to the stomp setting. When you say 'it doesnt sound right'.... in what way
