Greetings! hey guys, thanks a lot! The Pitch effect worked great!!!! Much appreciated!! The Helix is SO COOL when using it with the Chapman Stick. I can run both sides of the instrument through it! The routing options are amazing!

IS there no Octaver option in the Helix? I am running both sides of my Chapman Stick through it, and really enjoy the sound of an Octaver pedal. Is there a way to get that with some of the modeling that is available. Thanks!

Here is what you do.... Use Guitar input for melody, then use the Receive of the send/receive.... if you are using two signal paths for melody and bass. Set the second signal path to Rcv and your problems will be over!! Feel free to contact me @ dr.pinhead@mac.com

The helix is connected. I have tried all of these steps to no avail... software is 1.04.3 I have tried the steps you have suggested the line6 updater still will not recognize the Helix, just is black. I am at a loss as to what to do.

I downloaded the Line6 updater, and after I sign in, it asks me what device I want to update, and the box is just Black, and nothing to choose. getting frustrated with this.

I down load the FW 1.10, and I keep getting a Safari message saying there is no application to open... please advise, thanks

Dhaaaaaa! I also did not mention, that I am getting No sound from the instrument whatsoever! I was using the XLR just fine, and then this happened all of a sudden. I switched to using 1/4 and have no problem... I am sorry for not mentioning this before... (doofus attack)

I am experiencing a loud audio hum when I am using my helix into two powered monitors. I went in to the output section and made sure that it was on "line" setting. I am plugging the melody side of the Chapman Stick into the guitar input and the Bass side into RCV 1 because the AUX impedance is not right. Any suggestions. thanks in advance

Running my Chapman Stick into 2 K12's and a Ksub... sounds awesome with the amp modeling or just clean!

I am really digging the SVT/8x10... I am running both side of the Chapman Stick into the HD-500x... This goes into my QSC K12's and the Ksub!! the amp modeling is really great. Have yet to use the GK model. I am also liking the Roland Jazz Chorus model for the melody side of the Stick as well. I have a few patches where I am running it mono, with both sides having the same effects as well. Love this pedal board!

I am a new-be with this HD-500x and I am having some difficulty…. I am using on line editor… when ever I try to put the volume pedal in the signal chain, it never works… I know I must be doing something wrong, however, no matter where I place it in the chain it never works. Assigning the wha-wha is no problem… and suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Greetings, As a long time Bassplayer (plug and play), I have never used a multi-FX pedal board like this, so I am kinda "green". Unless I am missing it, I am curious as to set the Guitar and Aux up as to have two out puts... I am wanting to run the melody side of the Stick into the guitar input, and I want to set the AUX up to accept the Bass side of the Stick.... these will in turn go to two QSC K-12 powered monitors. I know about going into set up and choosing "guitar" and "aux", however the signal path does not look like it is split. If I could get some direction here, I would sure appreciate it. Thanks in advance.
