I returned to 1.9 to see if the problem was still there. The problem exists but it is less audible because it's messy. So I reinstalled version 2.1 and the problem persists on ghost notes of A string, and looking more closely at the D string is also assigned a less audible and less troublesome. I think it is a bug. Hello, I also have a problem when I use the ALT tunning . When I use the drop D or A , it affects the lower chord ( A). There is a note in addition to ghost notes the string and make it sound false and gruesome . In short it became completely unusable. It's very weird , the sound of the string in drop D for example is not affected by this problem . I flashed recently (2.1 to 2.0) same problem , and 2.0 to 2.1, no improvement. I also changed the strings and I do not recall if the problem was already present. I will try to reduce the number of turns on the turn knob and see the result but I'm skeptical because everyone changes the strings and there would be more of reporting this problem. At the closing I have to send it to Belgium for repair or more than 2000 km of home. The guitar being no longer under guarantee (2 years and half) the cost should raise at: 200 euros of transportation confidently 50 euros of material spare 4 hour of installation .... or 200 euros (it is my assessment.) azur1964 - how did you increase the volume of the high E by 6db ? In Workbench HD, I can only see options for reducing volumes at both global and individual strings at the model level. I know you can increase the output of the entire pickup and also the output of the model patch, so did you just increase the pickup output and then go back and reduce the E,A,D,G string volumes so that the end result was that the B and E were 6db louder than before? If that is how you achieved the fix, how much lower did you need to set the E,A,D,G strings ? And di you need to set GLOBAL string volumes differently as well - and if so by how much? you understand. Initially all the strings are 100%. After you adjusts the volume of the other strings still individually by comparing the result with the magnetic pickup. For example : e 100%, B 90%, G 90% D 60% 40% E and 40% so far ... Mais ce n'est pas forcement un problème de capteur piezo. C'est la modélisation du corp de la guitare qui produit cet effet. C'est sensible avec la simulation de la strat et d'une telecaster. Quand on prend la simulation d'une masonite ou d'une autre guitare, ce problème est beaucoup moins important. Ce problème n'était pas général dans la version 1.9, mais très important dans la version 2.0 sur les 3 cordes hautes !!! Pour régler le niveau des cordes on peut procéder de cette façon : - Régler le niveau de la corde E haute de manière à ce qu'elle sonne aussi fort que lorsque on utilise le micro magnétique. Le niveau général sera élevé (6 db par exemple) - Régler le volume des autres cordes de la même manière, les unes après les autres. Donc le truc c'est de se repérer par rapport aux micros magnétiques qui sont supposés être équilibrés. Bien sur si on règle les cordes sur un micro simple, il faudra se baser sur un micros simple magnétique... C'est ce que j'ai fait pour la position Spank-4 et le résultat est bien meilleur, car l'equilibre des volumes permet de retrouver le coté "spanky" de la strat.... Saluts.

I have reflashed in 1.9. The workbench allows to modify the tuning, but the JTV does not backup the preset. So reflashing in 2.0 (that i hate :angry: :angry: :angry: ) and there, everything is works. I spent a long weekend to modify the 2.0 presets. :angry: It's really boring that LINE6 does not put up to date the firmware regularly. Hello, After 2 years, my JTV89 knew its first bug. On a preset I had programmed (for a long time) the E low string to the drop D; Yesterday, this tuning was physically applied to the A string ! The string E was always E!!!!!! And the A programmed there E, lowered there A!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The same thing occurs with the tuning in drop D: the A string is (programmed) E there then tuned D there. No change on the E low string. Aprés by turning the button of tuning, the JTV began producing strange sounds during one or 2 seconds. I thus linked the JTV on the WORKBENCH but that this indicated well the good tuning (the rope E lowered in A). On the other hand any modification of the rope of E on the software echoed on the rope of A of the JTV... SOflashage of the firmware in 2.0, with for result a clerical error in the JTV. Re-flashage of the firmware in 2.0 (fully-loaded battery this time). Upgrade of the JTV OK, but no sounds see (immage this below) Then there, I load manually presets downloaded on the site VGUITAR, which I thank. Then well, the MILONGA store, which sold me the JTV closed. It's a web store now. I am afraid that things do not improve in time, the guitar being any more under guarantee. The worst i don't use it on every day, only the weekend. I like this guitar and in particular the mag mic, I wonder now what it would be worth if I sold it? Half of her price (failing electronics). I tested still the version 2.0. The result is always it same: The sounds lack really body. Afterwards I find harm that line6 had modeled the micros of 69 rather than micros one true "strat." Likewise, the micros of the 89 are less well modeled. Actually the problem it is not necessarily the selected guitars. I only punch some line6 such a guitar had chosen rather than another it is the global result which does not satisfy for me. The sounds lack cruelly of body and flush resounding. They are playable steps or too much little. The version 1.9 had its qualities despite a resounding general component that I was finding at my ear to ring a bit plastic. Actually in relation to démo official of the version 2, JTV89 only by no means rings the same so many on the resounding level on the quality of the sounds. I agree. This version is bad. The sounds are bugged, the Telecaster models and "spank" are horrible. Eg 4,5,6 strings telecasters have a very lower volume to premieres strings. I do not like the fender models. They do not ring. Is it possible that the upgrading has functioned poorly? I have not had an error during the update message. For me it's back to version 1.9.
