Same here. I'm using a Boss ES-8 loop switcher to control my HX1 and a couple of Strymons via MIDI. Any ES-8 preset 'template' I'v created that calls the same HX1 preset, locks all knobs, and appears to disable any Midi CC messages the ES-8 sends. For some of my ES-8 presets, I like to call the same effect preset, but send a CC at the same time to change something like tap division, or spread, or mix level. The Strymons handle this just fine, the HX1, not so much. So my work around has been to create a whole new HX1 preset to call...but editing that preset when the knobs are locked is a bit of a hassle. For what's essentially a multi-fx unit, I would have throught the Midi implementation would have been more robust. It's even more disappointing that something like sending the exact same PC message locks out the hardware controls of the pedal.
