  1. I did not want to offebd you. I only referred on your reply to my sunmissiom. I guess as moderatot you're a volunteer amd not an employee. So keep on and thank you foe your efforts,
  2. I can't see any option for this too. I get always a stereo signal. Obfiously it depends where you take the signal from the path if both channels are equal or different. So - no real mono
  3. How and where did you route to the spdif? Check the setting in in-/oitput settings of the stadium.
  4. You're wrong and your suggestions are not helpful, The USB connection is fine because audio (including asio) amd midi are working excellent on the same usb port with drvers in l6Stadium.inf. The culprir is the Line 6 WinUsb driver (v1.0.0.11 from the installer) and the device hardware/firmware. All other variables have been excluded by me. The Bulk Transfer interface of the device (hardware ID: USB\VID_0E41&PID_4841&MI_06) always receives the error code 1 with the message "The installation class is not present or invalid". This is a specific error in the Windows device stack that suggests that the driver does not correctly set the necessary registry entries (possibly the ClassGUID or entries in the CoInstallers section) for this particular interface. The common denominator in all tests is the Line 6 WinUsb driver (v1.0.0.11 from the installer) and the device hardware/firmware. All other variables have been excluded. Your suggestions are helpful for general USB problems, but do not affect this specific Code 1 installation error of a single interface. So don't take me for a fool. Best regards
  5. But what if the Windows user has the infamous device "Helix Sradium Bzlk Transfer" which keeps Line 6 Center from connecting?
  6. I had / have two iPads and they simply don't work without having an Apple-ID. On my desktops I don't use any company account. I don't want to start a stupid war about Apple / Microsoft. they're both evil. Once I had to buy those iPads due to renote controlling soft-/ hardwae having no alternatives in the past. I really dislike those overpticed bad designed Fort Knox like proprietary toys for wannabes. - Deep breath. In a better world all cobsumer hard- and software would run on linux. So it is fine if you found a solution. For me it is no option: I need my second kidney...
  7. I just hope the self update over wifi / intenet still works. As I analyzed the ertror the nug lies in the driver. To make this work would be much less effort than a new firmware and could be delivered independently and instantly. It should be packaged with line 6 central.
  8. Please excuse ny cluelessness but being a non native Ebglish speaker I want to know what means OG.
  9. Make a screenshot of your settings in Audacity and share 'm here. They are in "Edit"->"Settings" and look similar to these
  10. Did you srnt a support ticket? I suspect they don't read the forum. Thanks my friend and redeemer. Now I know I am not alone. I already sent one unit back and was on the fence to do this with the now exchanged unit.
  11. We need more information of your audio configuration. As the Helix isn't your standard device what is your standatd output device? Which application do you use recording? How this is set up?
  12. Now I'm waiting for a respomse from support since Monday last week on my report which proves that rhe problem is caused by the Stadium or its driver. Lools like if you've a problem they can't blame on you you're lost.
  13. First of all: Happy new year dear comrades Just being curious I grabbed my nearly 20 year old laptop with Win 7. I Installed the Helix Stadium app, I didn't exprct this to work. But it installed the app amd the drivers. Helix Sradium reports on the USB bus the same stupid devive "Helix SradiumBulk Transfer". So I have the same issue on four completely different installations on three fundamental different devices. Windows only reports names connected devices send to it. It does not invents them. Something is basically wrong with the units sent to me or with the line 6 usb driver "L6WinUsb.inf" The Stadium driver "l6Stadium.inf" works fine as expected. I am fighrtng with the support since end of November and went no step further. My patience is wabing...
  14. Sadly the support has the attitude to repel their customers who have isssues which atrn't solved with their stabdard responses. At rhe end they blame it on me or my systems. No, I ain't disappointed it only confirms line 6 is n danger losing its spirit. I fear I've blown the money.
  15. I'm here again. I sent the mentioned unit back to my dealer and some days later I got a new one. Before I connected it to my PC I deleted everything related to Line 6 amd reboot. I installed the Helix Stadium applicatiom (1.2) and let is install all three items. Switched the PO off. Connected the Stadium to my WLAN and did an update. It was on 1.0 and aften on 1.2. So far so good. Then I connected it to my PC and switched it off, Switched on the PC and when it was ewady I started the Stadium. Tasaaa! This bastard "Helix Sradium Bulk Transfer" was there again in other (unknown) devices. Before I decided to throw all rhese annoying machines through the closed window I tried the following: I did a completely new install of windows 11 on the PC and attached omly keyboard, mouse monitor and LAN. Everything else was pulled out. Then I installed the Helix app and reboot. Pushed in the Stadium and there it is there again: "Helix Sradium Bulk Transfer" in other (unknown) devices. Sane thing on my other PC (Win 10) I am wondering what they may have in common what can caus this issue - completely different machines... I'm getting very tired. Happy XMas rverybody!
  16. Obviously it is. Evem for the European support. But thanks a lot for your passionate engagement.
  17. Yes, I am familiar with those sfc / dism commands. But they did not help. As I mentioned in my opener shortly I build a "new" PC from my hardware vaults and installed a virgim WIN10 22H2. It has attached no devices but keyboard, mouse and monitor. This PC has exactly the same issues as the Win11 machine whem I install the Jelix Stadium hard- and soffware. I guess Helix Stadium is missing a fimal step of ptoduction here and it is not really broken.
  18. Thank you so much for your effort showing all this. All the USB stuff you showed is missing but these shown below and the scary "Helix Stadium Bulk Transfer" (BTW: How did you insert the pictures in your post?) In Line6 Cebtral I see only my old HD500 licenses and in Windows Control Center -> Line 6 Audio-Midi Devices abdolutely nothing Anyway: I called my dealer and he recommended to return the device. Thing is: I can get a new one at the earlies beginnin of 2026. What a torture
  19. Yeah I tried this too several times, even with mining through the registry for any lime6 / halion remnants. But don't or didn't you have this" Helix Stadium Bulk Transfer" thing in your device manager? If not how the Stadium is presend in your device nabager?
  20. Thanks for trying to help. You don't sound ignoramt. Thing is: The standard drivers for midi and audio just work as the asio driver does. Communication with wifi even works. So it's unlikely my usb ports are the cilprit. But in Line6 Central and and Line6 Audio-Midi Device Control (System Control ) is nothing present. They're empty. I cannot ignore this issue as Line6 decided to make firmwase updafes on USB. That will not work here because Line6 Central does nothing and Helix Sradium App crashes immediately connecting to usb.
  21. Dear ladies and sirs Wednesday last week I reported this issue. Now we (mostly me) are poking around this issue stupidly. Support insists on "This is am unknown issue.". Very helpful. I consider this as clueless nonsense as someone has made this device and its representatiom. I tried every USB-port, did an install/uninstall circle four or five times and even build a new Wim10-machine from my device vaults but this shows the same issue as my actual Win11-machine. I am a line6 customer over 20 years but now I am really scared ny this obvious quality isuue and the ignotance or shiftlessness of the European support.
  22. I have a DT25. The DTs have Line6 Link. So I guess it will need the sddon device like Variaxrs do.
  23. I am sure you cannot access those parameters directly. The manual says: "This Appendix covers the MIDI features available for your POD® HD500 device. POD HD500 will respond to incoming MIDI messages for remote access of its assignable Footswitch & Pedal Controllers, and for loading Banks & Presets. POD HD500 also outputs Bank & Program Change messages when navigating Set Lists and Presets. POD HD500 additionally includes the ability to function as MIDI Controller device, with its footswitches and Expression Pedals capable of sending customized MIDI commands."
