  1. Line 6 Central is not necessay because the Helix App does the firmware update fine with usb. Interstingly my Line 6 Unit was on 1.3.1 abd said it was up to date. - I guess it was not stored on the dedicated web space then. Anyway. You are right. It was at least a bad communication attitude by Line 6 letting me been not informed for months. RL
  2. Solved! The issue "Helix Stadium Bulk Tramsfer" is fixed finally with version 1.3.2. No crashes om connecting the app or Line 6 Central via usb, no "Unknown Device" in device manager. Line 6 Central got stuck trying to update. But probably I wasn't patient enough. L6C did not give any feedback. Firmware update with the Stadium Application worked fine. Actually the firmware update 1.3.2 did not work with self update yet.
  3. On windows 11: The issue "Helix Stadium Bulk Tramsfer" is fixed finally. Mo crashes om connecting the app or Line 6 Central via usb, no "Unknown Device" in device manager. 4. That is going to be pathetique and embarassing. Even with 1.3 nothing has changed on this issue. I reprorted this bug end of November 2025. This is a stupid driver issue which should be fixed by a hardware programming apprentice in less than 4 months.
  5. There is no solution for the "Helix Stadiu, Bulk Transfer" issue but an intervention by Line 6 itself. My Sradium's screen does mot exactly look like your image. It only has a kind of very small blinking cursor that vanishes when the Helix logo shows up. Istromgly recommend: If you didn't already, - make a support ticket for your issues. Here are only users of Line 6 gear amd this is no official support.
  6. Regardibg "Helix Stadium Bulk Transfer" - The reason users don't mention it is the fact tmat the WIFI connection works more or less. So they aren't aare of this issue. Look here For 2.: Line 6 Central is only for updating firmware but won't work with the error above. Stadium App is the remote app for Helix Sradium where you can do nearly everythind you can do on the unit's touch screen. For 6.: You can omly use one interface with ASIO on Windows.
  7. Got an email today from Thomann: Estmated delivery September 15th 2026
  8. Not really but so far that we can do nothing but praying self update over intermet will still work or updatimg with Apple stuff. Last one isn't possible for me. We did everything a customer can do. Now it is Line 6' move.
  9. No, I dom't think you're acting neurotic. Who am I ro justify here... Probably I am a little bit pedantic but such odditiers can steal my sleep for days. On top of your described actions I searched snd removed everrything with "Line 6" in its keys or values of the registry. I analyzed all setup logs and driver inf too. Also I set up two new vanilla systems... No chance!
  10. Thanks for the hint. It was installed. But it led to crashes instantly. So I removed it via Line 6 uninstaller and removed the remains in device manager. Then I did a reinstall of the Stadium app because it seems to install everything needed.
  11. I am aware of announced but not yet implemented features. I am fine with it. But this here is a dirrerent story. It is very simple: I want a unit that works as announced. At least Line 6 has to acknowledge this bug and to estimate when there will be a solution. These are fundamrntal rights as a customer. Just an example: I buy a new car and I realize that the front lights do not work. The car dealer says after my compaimt: "Well, but the car works. just don't drive at night or use a pair of pocket lamps from Apple." I am not that obsequious person who is fobbed off so easy by so called workarounds. Acceptimg this in my book is simply cringingness.
  12. Thomann writes 11-14 weeks...
  13. No they aren't. I neither did get a satisfying answer to my regarding ticket nor am approval as bug on the part of Line 6. I am still waiting and will send the unit back shortt time before wasrrnty expires if that issue will not be fixed. On my home planet we call this attitude of Line 6 embarassing stone wallibg. My analysis for a lot of days led only to one conclusion: This is a bug in the driver. Well. I am a retired programmer (COBOL, C, C++, ASM, Python, Java, PHP...) and developer too and used a lot of OSs especially windows since the 90s. I know what I am doing. But I would even be glad someone showing me a solution while provinhg me wrong.
  14. Thank you a lot. I know this workaround. But it is still a workaround. BTW: I had no issues updating the ftrmware via wifi and did not have the "n0 QR code" issue. I just want a working usb driver. But this seems to be not possible until now. At this point I cannot rely 100% on the Stadium.
  15. Even the last update (1.2.1)changed nothing. This severe bug still exists. I abalyzed the regarfing inf file (L6WinUsb.inf) for the usb control driver. This thing hasn't been chabged since 07.07.2025, I even did not get any replies to my submissions in my "support" ticket since 29th of December. C'mob folks - this is simply pathetic.
  16. Should be stereo with different channels if you've put stereo modules right of the amp nodule. But here and in the Facebook groups are reports of misbehaving SPDIF outputs. I use SPDIF only splitted from the other path at the beginning to have a clean recording of my instrument. The output is stereo with two identical channels. This is what I expect.
  17. I did not want to offebd you. I only referred on your reply to my sunmissiom. I guess as moderatot you're a volunteer amd not an employee. So keep on and thank you foe your efforts,
  18. I can't see any option for this too. I get always a stereo signal. Obfiously it depends where you take the signal from the path if both channels are equal or different. So - no real mono
  19. How and where did you route to the spdif? Check the setting in in-/oitput settings of the stadium.
  20. You're wrong and your suggestions are not helpful, The USB connection is fine because audio (including asio) amd midi are working excellent on the same usb port with drvers in l6Stadium.inf. The culprir is the Line 6 WinUsb driver (v1.0.0.11 from the installer) and the device hardware/firmware. All other variables have been excluded by me. The Bulk Transfer interface of the device (hardware ID: USB\VID_0E41&PID_4841&MI_06) always receives the error code 1 with the message "The installation class is not present or invalid". This is a specific error in the Windows device stack that suggests that the driver does not correctly set the necessary registry entries (possibly the ClassGUID or entries in the CoInstallers section) for this particular interface. The common denominator in all tests is the Line 6 WinUsb driver (v1.0.0.11 from the installer) and the device hardware/firmware. All other variables have been excluded. Your suggestions are helpful for general USB problems, but do not affect this specific Code 1 installation error of a single interface. So don't take me for a fool. Best regards
  21. But what if the Windows user has the infamous device "Helix Sradium Bzlk Transfer" which keeps Line 6 Center from connecting?
  22. I had / have two iPads and they simply don't work without having an Apple-ID. On my desktops I don't use any company account. I don't want to start a stupid war about Apple / Microsoft. they're both evil. Once I had to buy those iPads due to renote controlling soft-/ hardwae having no alternatives in the past. I really dislike those overpticed bad designed Fort Knox like proprietary toys for wannabes. - Deep breath. In a better world all cobsumer hard- and software would run on linux. So it is fine if you found a solution. For me it is no option: I need my second kidney...
  23. I just hope the self update over wifi / intenet still works. As I analyzed the ertror the nug lies in the driver. To make this work would be much less effort than a new firmware and could be delivered independently and instantly. It should be packaged with line 6 central.
