I believe the only pedal that will work for EXP 2 with the POD HD 500X, is the Line 6 Mission EP1-L6 pedal. No Calibration. I use EXP 2 as a Volume Pedal. EXP 1 is my expression pedal for WAH (EXP TOE SWTICH= ON), or other Pedals for Mix, etc. If I have maxed out on DSP, I will use EXP 2 to control the AMP CHANNEL volume. All this is done in Controller. dH

Hi, Thanks for the response. I checked off unsolved.....I am not sure what I am doing in these forums.....did I do that right? Also, my lack of knowledge on the POD HD and how the paths and the chain works together. I will post a sound bit from a song I was doing working on - just the ambient piece. Would that help? This sound was created in the POD XT Live which I sold - but I kept all the patches I think on my PC for posterity (haha). Again, thanks for the help and consideration

Hi group. I have perused a number of ambient sounds from "custom tone", and it's not doing for me. I use to have the POD XT Live and I had a pretty good ambient sound that I made. It seemed to work with most genres. I can't seem to create something I Like with the POD HD 500X - go figure. I love this new unit..... Any help would be awesome to get me pointed in the right direction. Thanks dH

The Variax is on the radar....but ....unless Line 6 can contribute to my Variax fund....that is going to have to wait. I have a Godin xTSA with the built in GK pickups and a 72 strat. I use to have the GR-20, but just sold that too. I like to add some nice fills to a phrase/loop....and it should be a lot easier with the upgraded gear. Cheers

Thank you Thank you. It is sold and out the door. Now I am gifting the packs to the new owner. Then this weekend, I am off to acquire the new Line 6 POD HD 500X, Roland GR-55, and the Boss RC-300 looper.... So excited to upgrade.

Sorry to trouble you all again. I just want to make sure I am doing this right. Licence Manager is showing me under devices; 1. My Computer - with the two add-ons. Collector Classics and Metal Shop. 2. PODxt Live - with all the Add-ons including the two above. Which one do I deauthorize first? The Computer or the POD? Thanks

So I deauthorize both the POD XT and the Model packs via Line 6 Licence Manager? Then, I can gift - the model packs or the POD XT to the new buyer? Or both???

Greetings Line 6 - Guitar enthusiast People!!! Hope this is not a pain, but I need some help. I am upgrading to the POD HD500 (Yippee!) and I am selling my current POD XT Live. Are there any steps to follow to transfer to a new user? When should the model packs be gifted - before or after sell? When do I Deauthorize the POD XT Live from my account? What steps are required for the new user? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!! Cheers
