Hello group, I am having a seniors moment. A Knob question for sure, but.....what is the difference between; " Save As...Bundle" and the "Save As...Setlist"? Thanks.....

I just recorded from the 500X via the USB. It worked. Can anyone else confirm?? Happy Camper. dH

With regards MAC OS X El Capitan: Are we waiting on Line 6 to update the driver for the POD HD 500X, or are we waiting for a point release from Apple? Thanks.

Any update on the driver release dates from Line 6 for MAC OS X "el capitan"? I saw that Amplifi was updated from Line 6 on a Facebook feed this morning. Things must be in the works for sure. Other than that....all is good. Things are working perfectly. It sounds like el capitan has made the MAC perform better. Looking forward to it. I am also waiting from Presonus to update their driver for the AudioBox 22VSL. Staying in the holding pattern.......cheers

Are you using a Variax? If not and are using just a guitar,,then change the input source from Variax to Guitar - and poof you have sound.

Hello Group. I was wondering for POD HD500X users, what setting do you have for the driver Latency. MAC OS X 10.10.4 System Preferences - Line 6 Audio-MIDI Devics I have attached my setting. Is this default? Normal? Everything is running perfectly. I record using Presonus Studio One 3 DAW. (ps...I think they should rename it to just Presonus Studio 13...) Is there any advantages to a Medium setting? Again, I am just curious. I know, if it is not broken, don't fix it....haha Thanks dH

Hello group. Dumb question, but when I save a tone to CustomTone, it always defaults to the humbuckers. And I can't change it. Usually have to make the mention in the notes. Is this just a web coding issue? Or no issue. It is no big deal, I was just curious. dH

Thanks Rad.... I did a few tweaks. Brought the Depth down to 61%. FB as is. Instead of the Red Comp, I increased the Mixer Path A +3.5 dB (the amp signal to the delay/reverb). Path B remains flat (U-Vibe). I'll try subbing in the Rotary to see/hear how that sounds. Cheers

Hello Group Where should the U-Vibe be placed in the Chain? I know it is about what I hear. And the attachment picture shows my current config. U-Vibe mix (Min/Max 10-55%) is assigned to Pedal 2, and Volume to Pedal 1(onboard). So I don't know how it interacts with the delay in this configuration. It seems to have a thumping tone. May that is how the u-vib operates. I like the timing on the delay. Should the U-Vibe have the same timing as the delay? Thanks dH

I have a MACBook Pro. This might help... My sound card is the Presonus AudioBox 22VSL. I also have a Behringer XENYX 802 8-input 2-BUS Mixer. The Sound Card is USB to the MacBook. From the POD 500X ¼ inch outputs(stereo) to the mixer input Channel 4 (Left and Right From the AudioBox outputs (Left and Right) to the Mixer Channel 3. The Main outputs from the mixer go to a passive stereo amp, that drive my desktop monitors (speakers). The mixer EQ's are flat ( 0 dB ). I run the output from the AudioBox about 100%. The fader level on the Computer channel and POD channel on the mixer is about -5 to -8dB's with the main mix out flat at 0 dB's. I use the headphone output off the mixer. So if I want to be silent, I power off the passive stereo amp and just use the headphones. I have the sound from the computer, and from the POD HD 500X that I can mix so as to not blast my ear drums.

Hi group, This has been asked about a million times, but I can't seem to find the answers in knowledge base. Which Ernie Ball JR external pedal works with the POD HD 500X? I have the Line 6 Mission EXP-1 and it works pretty good. But the tactile foot-feel is a bit weird for me. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks dH

Hi Line 6 HD'rs.... POD HD 500x, MAC OSX 10.10.2 Just a question - There is a new setlist. 1. Best of HD 2. FX Heavy 3. Songs/Styles 4. Bass/Aco/Voc 5. L6Link <->DT 6. NEW ONE 7. User 8. User When I did the firmware update (all went so smooth) I wanted to go back to vanilla. I backup all my own tones. The plan is to put them back onto the POD. One thing I noticed was that the "user" Names of the setlist did not change. So I am not sure what Line 6 called this new setlist in the firmware update. I originally had the names for the User groups Dean1, Dean2, then user (6,7,8 from above). So what is setlist #6 called? I know you can change it, but what is the default? Thanks dH
