Hey everyone, Hopefully this isn't frowned upon on the forum (my apologies if it is!). So i got my Helix today :D and sold my Hd 500 and XT Live to the local Music-Go-Round. I tried to explain the whole model packs/registration deal, but they really didn't care :blink: .....long story short, i have the following model packs if anyone is interested: HD - Fully Loaded Bundle Sold XT Live - Collector's Classic and Metal Shop Thinking half price. I wouldn't think that that would hurt anything, and might be a mod that I would look into. As far as the perfect tuning, I often manually drop the low E a whole step in combination with the alternate tunings, with perfect results.

I believe that they still only make direct (I think there was still some cutting and splicing involved) replacement saddles for the older Variax models, not the JTV 69. Not sure if the offer a full bridge replacement, last time I looked it was just hardtails and floyd that were listed

Glad to help! Unless they have changed it, be careful with the Graphtec color code observing the polarity (sliver/white is the signal, blue ground). The Blue and silver wires were a bit translucent and because they are so small (or maybe because I won't admit that I could use some glasses) could get reversed. Use a good light close by, made it much easier to keep things straight.

It wasn't! I can't tell you how many times I paced back and forth checking and rechecking that drill press. Measure 500 times, drill once LOL The warranty was absolutely a concern, but I will say that almost a year later I am still thrilled with it.

Getting the same result on my 500. Just the indicator in the cab model selection area, but not actual values.
