  1. App will not update. I think the link is broken. It's just installing 1.3.0 over and over
  2. Yeah, I read about global blocks in fractal after I posted this. I think that would accomplish the same goal to a degree. But, it might still be nice to have a global preset as well so you can maintain routing, inputs and outputs.
  3. Linked Preset Inheritance (Parent-Child Architecture) The Core Concept: Introduce a system where multiple "Child" presets can be linked to a single "Parent" template. Any changes made to the Parent (block selection, parameter settings, or signal routing) automatically propagate to all linked Child presets. How it Works: The Parent Template: A master preset that defines the core rig (e.g., your primary drive, delay, and reverb settings). Inheritance & Sync: Child presets stay "in sync" with the Parent by default. If you update the delay time on the Parent, every Child preset updates instantly. The "Local Divergence" Toggle: Within a Child preset, users can "unlock" or "diverge" specific blocks or parameters. For example: Child A (Real Amp): Diverges by disabling the Cab block. Child B (Direct/PA): Stays synced to the Parent's Cab block. Child C (Agoura Amp): Diverges by swapping the Amp block for a different model while keeping all effects synced to the Parent. Re-Sync Command: A one-click option to revert a diverged block back to the Parent’s current state. Why This is Needed: Currently, if a user discovers a better "Stage Reverb" setting during soundcheck, they must manually copy-paste that block into every song-specific preset. This new system would allow a single edit to update an entire setlist while maintaining the unique output configurations (FRFR vs. Amp) required for different venues.
  4. Hi everyone, I once found a blog post that had these detailed overviews for each amp and effect on the Helix. Most importantly, the blog post went over what each setting did for each effects pedal. Unfortunately, I forgot to save the post and now I can't find it anymore. I would love to know the purpose of each setting e.g. flutter, ramp, FBtone, range, peak, etc., etc. Each effect has different settings and some of them are named the same thing but have different functions, like mode. Anyone have a compiled source of instructions for all of these pedals and amps?
  5. I've seen a lot of the same issues you have. Tried to update multiple times and kept getting that same connection error. It finally worked, but now my presents change randomly. I can't rollback to a different version either because of the connection errors. I'm going to have to send the thing back to Line6 and I just got it yesterday. Should I even keep this guitar? It kind of seems like more trouble than it's worth.
  6. I just got my 59 and I upgraded to 2.0 today. It's completely broken now. All of the presets change randomly and I can't roll it back to a previous version. Every time I try to rollback it gives me a connection error. Is this type of thing what I should expect going forward? Maybe I should just return it. Any thoughts?
