Also, doesn't seem that the bomber uber preamp is as loud as the others, it's on 100% volume and other amps are louder at 50%, I've red on forums and others came across this problem, it's a pity becuase I love the uberschall sound, but this makes it unusable thorugh head and cab. Line6 really should look in to this.
-
Seems the sound is better if I run the whole amp simulation not just the preamp, it's weird because all amps sound better thorugh power amp+cab running just the preamp models. But still there is some fizzyness to it, or is just the bomber uber like this? Strange because I don't here it when I use it via USB.

I know that the Line6 Elektrik is based on the Bogner Uberschall too. In studio mode the Bomber Uber somehow has more power and grindier, I think it's closer to the actual Bogner amp, but running it through a poweramp in to a guitar cab it sounds fizzy, theres an ice picky high end that I can't dial out, and I have the problem only with the Bomber Uber, the Elektrik sounds pretty awesome this way, but it bothers me that the Bomber Uber sounds like this through a poweramp+cab, and all the other models sound fantastic, except this one. Did you expreience this too?

Or should I go for studio headphones for mixing? Would I get better quality in sound for the money? Also can I use somehow my pc speakers on the POD so the whole band hears what the other is playing when tracking?
-
Well I won't have that kind of money soon, so I need to go with something cheaper :(

Hey! I want to buy studio monitors for my POD HD500X, to make some home recordings/demos, what is the best buy for aournd 170 dollars/pair? I don't want to spend too much more on it. I have a cheap superlux headphones but it's not the best for mixing/mastering tracks.
-
When the polytune shows the G string is OK, than the POD shows it'sw still flat, and if I tune with the POD I hear there something just not right
-
I've been using the POD HD500X for a while, but when it comes to tuning something was always off. I dug up my Polytune and started tuning, and WOW what a difference, the G string way inaccurate on the POD HD 500X Anyone else has this problem? Will there be an update for this?

Cool! How much db should individual tracks be? What do you think about the tone? Any ideas how to improve it?

I don't know why, but my recordings doesn't sound loud enough. I mean I have to turn them up 100% in the player aftter the mixdown and in cubase it's almost close to clipping. But the same in Ableton Live 9 so I don't think the DAW is the problem. Here is the recording: http://www.filedropper.com/podtest28_1 Here are my settings on the POD and in cubase, you can see the indicator i pretty close to the red zone A képet a Képfeltöltés.hu tárolja. http://www.kepfeltoltes.hu A képet a Képfeltöltés.hu tárolja. http://www.kepfeltoltes.hu A képet a Képfeltöltés.hu tárolja. http://www.kepfeltoltes.hu A képet a Képfeltöltés.hu tárolja. http://www.kepfeltoltes.hu A képet a Képfeltöltés.hu tárolja. http://www.kepfeltoltes.hu A képet a Képfeltöltés.hu tárolja. http://www.kepfeltoltes.hu Do you feel that the recording is loud enough? Because there are recordings that just blow out the windows. Little help would be great

Someone please help me out a bit :D

OK being a real noob hear, how do I set playback volume?? A képet a Képfeltöltés.hu tárolja. http://www.kepfeltoltes.hu On the left side at the channel you can set volume of the specific track, To the rigth from the marker, that sets the whole volume, which also makes a difference in the end volume of the mixdown. How can I make my recordings powerful? For example I listen to music on vol 50% in the player and 30% on the speakers and blows out the windows But with my recordings I listen it to 100-100 and it's still not powerfull enough.
-
Hey but the sound is not open and brigth enoug h if it's not pushed enough :S
-
My other problem is, how do oyu make your recording sound big and loud? When I'm satisfied with the loudness it also start to go in the red zone where it says it's too loud, and there aren't any other instruments yet
-
Okay, so I'm trying to make a good recording tone, but I just can't get rid of some high end fizz in the recordings, EQ makes it better, but doesn't dissappear fully. When we used a Profire 610 and Amplitube 3 all the fizziness were gone when cutting below 100hz and above 10khz. Here is a sample http://www.fileswap.com/dl/jCYLeS3f1q/ There is some nasty fizziness that I can't get rid of, and I don't know why, because I hear all these really clear recordings wit the POD HD and I wanna sound like that :D Here is the EQ I used on it:

Okay so I wanted to try out the POD HD 500X with Recabinet 3. I add a new audio track, and put in Recabinet 3 in the inserts but nothing happens, doesn't effect the sound at all. Someone pls help! Edit: This way only effects the suond when I play back the recorded sound, but when I'm recording it doesn't take any effect Audio/Plugins are all greyed out but donno why :S
-
Didn't assign the min/max values, that vas the problem :)
-
Isn't this how should I do it? This just turns the Delay on and off with the footswitch, but doesn't do anything else
-
Did that and nothing :S
-
Tried it in the HD Edit, but nothing, can someone post me a a screenshot?
-
Ok, I don't know why, I tried a lot of things, I want to use the expression pedal to maniplate the delays feedback or time, but I don't know how to do it. It just doesn't do anything at all. Someone please show me :S
-
I know how to use a noise gate, but the bomber uber sounds pretty thin and fizzy, the other amp models sound awesome, tired it today through a PA System, it was pretty awesome :P I'm not really satisfied with the sound trough headphones
-
I have the same sound if I leave the output mode on live or I don't use cab sims You should hear noticable difference, when I left it ot live when connecting on USB sounded the same like yours, switched to studio/direct problem solved. http://www.filedropper.com/podtest7 This is how it should sound.....not a perfect tone, but you get the idea
-
I've been paying around a bit more, seems if I use only the pre-amps into the VK than the sound is more balanced and I don't have to use cab sims. But the bomber uber still sounds fizzy, all the other amps sound good, is this faulty, or just the bomber uber is like this? On headphones doesn't seem to be that much fizzier than on a real cab. Dou you have the same with the bomber uber?
-
Was messing around a bit http://www.filedropper.com/podtest7 Cut everything under 100hz in cubase and everything above 6,3k What dou you think?
