  1. http://www.filedropper.com/showdownload.php/podtest4 I've recroded this with a bomber uber wit XXL-30 cab sm57 off axis on the left and Angel F-ball on the rigth same cab sm57 on axis http://www.filedropper.com/showdownload.php/podtest5 This is made the same just dual amps were in one patch and this was panned left and right I want my sound to be more open, and I don't know if you hear it, but there are some nasty frequencies in there that make the sound less clean Please give me some advice how can I improve this, I think it sucks a bit
  2. So you can't assign individual patches to choose them for all 8 just for 4 th ABCD-s? This sucks a bit :( Also I found somewhere on the forum that the POD HD500x needs 150-600 ohm headphones, it's "funny", I have to spend more on headphones than on the HD?
  3. Can you assign to all footswitches? I tried to assign to rythm to FS-8 clean to FS-7 and put everything on these on switches, but they just acted as on-off switches, couldn't switch between the patches
  4. http://data.hu/get/7384594/podtest.wav Recorded this, Bomber Uber with XXL-V30 cab sm57 off axis, sounds duller and darker than on the VK/Cab Also on the VK it doesn't seem to be so thick like when recording Another question: How can I assign a full patch to one foot switch, lets say I want my rythm to FS1 and clean to FS2? Doesn't seem to figure tis one out
  5. Been playing aound, seems the best is combo power amp, and the cab sims has to be turned ON, the fizzyness is mostly gone. This is when I run it through valvekings poweramp. For recording, I will upload a bit I just recorded Also in the earphones it sounds crappy, if the headphones are connected to the POD, I've read that it needs at least 150ohm? Mine is 32....
  6. Okay my HD 500X arrived today. Tried it through a Valvekings poweramp section. I don't know why but I have a nasty high ice picky fizzy sound to it, which the valveking doesn't have at all when playing it by itself, I set the output to combo poweramp, the stack pwoeramp seems more fizzier, Also didn't seem to get a really good recording tone out of it on the computer I hear people getting these awesome tones, but even if I download their patches doesn't sound that good.
  7. Thanks, great! One more question, do I need a stere jack on the end of the POD? Or a single mono jack-jack is good?
  8. Is that the S/PDIF you are referring to? Because I'm looking at the I/O-s and don't see it Do I need some kind of special cable for this?
  9. Noob question here, I wanna buy a HD500X and a magnum 44 to power my 212 cab, but the HD500X left and right outputs, how do you connect it to the EHX magnum 44? Because that only has 1 input
  10. Okay, are there any vidoes on that? I1ve red somewhere in the forums here that the aux in doesn't sound that good. Also if I want a realy acoustic sound would my cab need piezo speakers too? If I am at a venue where I wouldn't need my cab because the PA system is that good, can I turn on the cab/mic simulation fast or do I have to make new presets?
  11. I wan' to buy an 500X because I had it with carring a heavy amp had and tap dancing on my pedal board. I have a 212 cab with V30s. If I use the POD HD500X with a power amp to power my cab, should I turn off the cab/mic simulation? Can you plug 2 guitars in the POD HD500X? For example I want to put a piezo bridge in my guitar and it would be cool if it could handle both outputs.
