  1. Ooooooh, I'll bet that sounds awesome. Yeah, I wouldn't mind the tweaking, but I want the tones more than anything so I think I'm inclined to go with the firehawk, too.
  2. *Home office. Not interested in the Amplifi. Had one of those already. Liked it well enough. Looking only at the Firehawk 1500 or the DT setup. Thanks, though!
  3. I'm simplifying my setup, selling all my analog gear and going to digital/modeling. I don't gig anymore and it's just for playing in my office. Never mind the wattage of either or how loud they get. I'm just looking for sound quality differences. Fire away and thanks for the help!

  5. You're right about all of it, but I don't gig anymore. I'm a stay at home dad that loves to play and have good tone while doing so. I love my stage rig, but it's just too much now. I figure that the 1500 can do everything I need it to (although I wish the FX modeling was the same as the HD500x) and not take up a ton of space like my gear now does. Also, the digital component means that my kids can't just walk by and tweak the dials the screw everything up as long as I have my presets saved to the cloud. I only have two things that I need to know that I can't read about...1) Is it good at low volumes? (which you have answered for me) and 2) Is the tone, overall, good? (which I'll probably have to find a way to demo to be sure)
  6. Sweet. Thanks a ton for the feedback. I'm still seriously considering this all in one option. Haven't quite been able to fully commit to letting go of all of the other gear I've collected, lol. But I'm almost there. I just need a really good couple of YouTube videos to show it off. Actually demo-ing it will be difficult because the closest L6 dealer is over 200 miles away.
  7. Can anyone talk about the amp on a low volume setting? This will be my rehearsal amp at home AND with the band and I live in an apartment so I have to keep it quiet and I don't want to be tethered by headphones. Thanks!
  8. I'm right there with you. The tuner screen on my iPad is trippin' balls, but the knob on my TT is working fine. I'm upset about their follow through with the software, but after the iOS 9 debacle, I'm willing to tolerate this as long as my TT works.
  9. I followed this. It's nice to have my Amplifi TT back, but now I can't restore all of my apps because of the version of the firmware. I backed up right before I downgraded, so if Line 6 ever updates the Amplifi App, then I can simply restore. I shouldn't have to send my iPad back to nothing just because Line 6 wasn't prepared. It's ridiculous on Line6's part. Every single time I buy another piece of their gear, their support gets worse and worse. Unless some major lollipop goes down as a result of this, the TT will probably be the last Line 6 product I own.
  10. Something that would definitely help a disaster like this in the future might be access through Windows or Mac OS X. If there were an Amplifi Editor for computer, I, as well as many many others, would at least have that second avenue to go down.
  11. So are you saying that when you use DT Edit, that when you make changes to everything like EQ, channel volume, etc. that it stores on the amp and all you have to do is change the topology mode and channel number to recall all of your settings?
