I was able to install from my Win10 laptop and do the upgrade. Backed up my setlist with presets and was able to import back onto the unit. HOWEVER. 1. None of my saved presets show up in stomp footswitch mode. I noticed that right out of the box and was hoping the update would fix that. I thought maybe b/c it's a new setlist so I resaved 1 of my presets onto an open preset in the Factory 2 setlist and they don't show there either. (yes I am pushing FS6 and it does work on all the factory presets - just not new ones). 2. The expression pedal only works as a volume pedal. I assign it to wah's and can get it to visually move the parameters but there is no audible differance (nothing happens). TECH STAFF: any help?

Thanks for the replies guys. Yeah that's what I found too. Using low pass setting and have the filter at the very front of the chain. I'll look at the gain and see...the one I'm trying to replicate is from an old Kord AX30G, which sounds/responds way better than the Helix filter. More midrange without the sqeel. I use it for 1 song in the set and would like to retire it now.

I got the Helix 3 days ago and started replicating my presets from my other rigs. Pretty quick learning curve as promised. Actually able to come very close, as well as improve - adding some dynamics/response I didn't have. Holding opinion overall but only disappointed in 1 effect at this point - the filter. Using the filter for an auto-wah and it's pretty bad honestly. Tweaked and tweaked...got close enough but the high frequency end goes into the dog whistle range. The filter overal is pretty thin sounding regardless of where I put it in the chain or which preamp/amp used. Staff please put it on the list for an upgrade. The only other issue is getting the PC ap to run, It nstalled and ran on my Win10 laptop fine, but locks up on my Win7 desktop in my studio. Reinstalled but no change. Any answers/suggestions would be appreciated.

Got my unit 3 days ago. Have the same problem. The ap runs on my W10 laptop but not on my W7 studio desktop, which is where I'd prefer it to run. Have reinstalled a few times, no difference. Also noticed my user presets do not convert to stomp box mode. Any help staff? Thx
