I feel the same way. Also, the 335 bridge from 1.9 is my ideal solo tone and I don't have time now to try to tweak fw2 to recreate it (if it's even possible. Staying with 1.9.

This is also my problem with V2 although I think it's due to their choice of guitars to model being different than previous versions. They seem to be choosing brighter instruments while I prefer mellower sounding ones. I have a variax 500 and 300 and those strats and 335's sound like the SAME instruments being modeled and the JTV sounds like those instruments with improvements. Ver 2 sounds like DIFFERENT instruments and I just don't like their basic tones as much in spite of the other improvements with Ver2 about fw 2.0, I do not like a certain resonance quite pronounced in the higher frequency spectrum

No. I suspect that it would take a LOT of tweaking especially on the 335 bridge. It radically different IMO. Ver2 sounds like a typically scooped PAF pickup which I like for hard rock but the ver 1.9 is in a completely different universe tonally. I don't know what 335 they used for 1.9 but it's magical. BTW- I seem to remember L6 bring back the treadplate model from an earlier pod due to customer demand in the past so maybe I'll get lucky on this one. LOL!

Model packs of previous firmware anyone? I'd love version 1.9 strat and 335 as they're much darker sounding. The strat sounds like the pickups are loaded down with high a capacitance cable (hendrix, Srv anyone?). Just the way I like my strats.

BTW- I'm pretty bummed because I think I hear improvements in dynamic response and realism in ver2 that I really like but the TONE of spank neck and 335 bridge is a must have for me.

I downgraded. I can't live without the spank neck and the semi bridge in 1.9 which are both a lot darker than Ver2. I just like the particular guitars (pickups?) a LOT more. Personal taste.

I'd like an option to load the version 1.9 strat and 335. The HD versions have a more scooped sound that I'm always trying to avoid. The ver 1.9 335 bridge for instance has gobs of creamy low mids that I always want in a 335. The HD one has tons of top endy stuff . It's totally different. I'll stay on ver 1.9 forever before I'll give up the strat neck and 335 bridge.
