  1. Hello all - Is it me or is there no Blues Driver model in the Pod Go library? If not, is there a similar model that I might use? Thanks for your input :)
  2. Turns out I am going to go with the HX Effects which has the parallel path capability.
  3. Hello all - Apologies if this topic has been covered elsewhere. I am interested in purchasing the Pod Go. I have an amp with an fx loop and an FRFR speaker. If I run the amp in the fx loop, I would be turning off the amp/cab sim. Will the main L/R outs still be able to use amp/cab sim if I want to simultaneously run to the FRFR unit? Many thanks V
  4. I logged a ticket and got a generic copy paste from the instructions page - and even though I am using a Yamaha USB interface - Steinberg ur22 mkii - and Line 6 is also owned by Yamaha - I was directed to purchase another USB interface... Needless to say I did not - I tried another computer and meticulously followed the instructions and my head is now updated.
  5. I don't think so. All I can find is info stating that 32 bit apps ought to be able to work in a 64 bit environment.. as a service engineer moderator ;) I value your insight... do you know of any ways to accomplish 32 bit mode in a 64 bit environment? Funny thing is that originally I did have the Win 7 32 bit install on this computer but I got the Steinberg audio midi usb interface and it came with Cubase that requires a 64 bit Windows install - so I reformatted and reinstalled the 64 bit...
  6. ugh I am getting the same comm error Steinberg UR22MKII midi to usb audio interface Midi out to in and in to out Win 7 64 bit error 8000000A tried multiple USB ports on the computer tried downloading manually and updating from file is this really so hit and miss? is it really just sit there and keep trying and one day it'll happen? does Paul Hindmarsh know about this? :D edit - also tried the safe mode thing and I also did the reset to factory settings....
  7. thanks! I still should be able to control the signal path and where the amp shows up though right?
  8. Hey folks - First time posting in forever but I've been a Line 6 user for over a decade. Mostly the POD XT Live which is why I am finally getting to seriously consider an upgrade. Much as I wish otherwise, my career as a musician doesn't yet justify spending 1400$ on the Helix LT but it does justify getting a POD HD500X. I've watched tons of videos - Paul Hindmarsh, Ritchie Castellano, Pete Thorn, Anderton's TV - but no one can answer anything about the dual purpose footswitches Peavey uses. The mini head has the possibility of 2 footswitches each with 2 active buttons - and it has an XLR out with speaker simulation that allows for silent jamming .... So - the question is - how can I incorporate the mini head into the signal chain ( 4 cable method ) without having to keep the Peavey footswitches around? I very much appreciate all answers Victor
  9. On the same topic - whenever I go into HD edit and choose a wah - automatically the wah is set to "on" when I load the sound - if I go into the edit and turn it "off" I can't get the foot switch to work Example - I loaded a wah - but had the expression pedal on the volume setting - but the sound immediately has the unique high frequency buzz of a wah all the way down - so I back off the expression pedal - and the volume goes down! Then I step on the pedal to get to expression 2 - and then I can control the wah - but in expression pedal 1 - it's a volume pedal but the wah is "on" - And I have gone into the HD edit program under the controller tab and made sure the wah is only set on Exp2 - leaving Exp 1 for volume. What am I doing wrong?
