  1. Same thing. I think is the vintage delay, i don't have any issue with others bloks. I submitted a support ticket, if i found the solution i'll let you know. It is a Floor or a LT?
  2. Hi, Does any body experience this same issue? I've updated my Helix Floor from 2.7 to 2.80 and all my vintage delay blocks become a sort of ghost. It disappears from the signal path but they are still sounding in the back. If you try to do something that involves the delay parameters, even changing the tap tempo, it stops. I've already update my firmware to 2.81 and restore this presets from the 2.71 backup and still the same. This is my main delay so i don't wanna to reload every preset manually. So if anybody can help me, i'll be happy.

  4. I'm tunning in standard. And the noise is in all the presets.
  5. Yes Of course they can not. I used in that way on purpose. It's not my first guitar and I understand the functionality of the guitar. I mix the magnetic pickups with the modeled in order to create the sound of a bass and a guitar in the low 2 or 3 strings. A royal bloodish kind a sound. What I'm trying to tell you is that every time I try to create a new guitar model blending the model and the magnetic pick ups this kind to "frying-a-thing" sound appears on my guitar. I rollback the restoring version of the flash memory and the sound go away. Please Let me know if you understood the problem.
  6. Hi again, I think i found the source of the problem. Like I said in the first post, the noise in the bridge pickup appears after I connected the guitar to my notebook.I solved the issue with the noise just rolling back the version in my variax with the line 6 monkey erasing all the presets. Then I re-update the latest version (2.22 i think) and upload my presets.None of those presets has the magnetic pick-ups blended with the modeled ones, but I tried the first time that the noise appearded. Then I restored the flash memory for the first time. After restoring the flash memory the sound disappeared for about a month. Then, yesterday I try to create sort an octave below in my last 2 strings by mixing the magnetics with a model and the sound appears again. So I did all the process again and the sound seems to went away one more time. So, i'll like to know if someone has the same problem or any useful answer. Everything is updated in my computer. I'm running in windows 7 Pro 64 bits. Thanks
  7. Yes. It's covering the left side of the cavity but isn't covering all the switch assy. Just covering half of it (the right side) with the yellow translucent tape all the way to the left of the cavity.
  8. I was pretty sure that I placed everething right but I've checked again an I realize that the yellow tape do not cover the etire switch assambly. Cover most of the right side but all of it. Do you have a clue about the problem? If I'll need some spare parts i'ts hard to buy here in Argentina. I bought the guitar refurbished 3 months ago and I start playing it a few weeks ago, I can't be a big problem. If there is a big problem the guitar souldn't pass the test, I assume. So, that overbent wire should not be the problem. I saw the weldings pretty good and nothing loose.
  9. Hi again. I was just asking for a diagram of pickups connection, not all the circuitry inside the helix.I just took a quick look into the back of the toggle and I saw that black wire a little over bent. It says "bridge" on top of the weldings, in the plate. That could be related to the failure? (let you an image attached) Psarkissian, I know that leave the problem to a Line 6 authorized service center it's the best and safer way to repair it, but it means a lot of money, a huge travel an d being without my rig for a couple of weaks. I'll do it for sure as an ultimate choice. Please understand me, and i'll understand you too if you don't want to help me or just can't for Line 6 policies. Thanks again.!!
  10. HI, Thanks for aswering that fast. I think the problem it's in the toggle switch to, but why when I take of the battery and play it with a regular guitar cable (1/4" mono) the noise immediately stops. Don't you have some schematics or a troubleshooting to follow. I'm sure the technician will be 400 mile from my home. I'm have some electronics knowledge so I Would like to check it first by myself. It's the toggle switch a regular one with different connection or it's only made for this guitar. I'll appreciate all the help.
  11. Hi everyone, I read some topics in the forum and i'm not sure if any topic describe exactly my problem so i have to ask you guys. I bought my guitar (a JTV 59) refurbished in Line 6 store and finally after 3 month I bring it to my home in Argentina after a travel in the US, so I have to solve the problem pretty much by myself. After a few days of using it the bridge magnetic pickup starts to make some intermittent noise (not a hum, more like a broken contact). It only happens once in a while using the magnetic pickups with the VDI cable with and without the battery. With a regular 1/4" plug with the battery the noise is still there, without the battery the noise disappears. My clue is that the pickup selector is either dirty or broken, but the noise should be there at least i'm missing something. If you have any solution besides cleaning the pickup switcher i'll apreceate your advices. Thanks you in advance. Sorry about my english, it's not my native lenguage.
