  1. Hi all, as the title says, my helix floor (which is out of warranty now) but still looks brand new. Has developed a Volume issue. It starts working fine, but within about 10mins the volume will either drop really low or come up rather loud, and it will keep doing this every few minutes, but mostly the volume stays low and then comes up loud out of the blue. I've tried changed amps & cabs just incase and it's still the same. Any ideas please? P.S.... Does anyone have a schematic for the Helix Floor please
  2. Me too.. loving the new Legacy options. Hope there's more to come in future as I LOVE options, the more the merrier
  3. Thank you.. I actually have just started using Presonus Studio One 3 as a trial and it's awesome, and pretty straight forward to use too, especially with all the helpful videos out there for when I get stuck :)
  4. Yes I have the ASIO driver thanks. After having an electric guitar 20 years ago, learning to play it in a roundabout sort of way then having selling my gear was awful. However the new experience of playing my new guitar via a PC and Helix is an awesome experience :) Thanks again
  5. Thanks a million guys. I've been messing around with all sorts of cables etc this morning and all that was needed was a flippin USB cable from PC to the Helix, and then to set the D2x to use Helix for output. Both voted up. Thanks again guys :)
  6. Hi guys, I've got my Helix and I'm trying to set it up to play PC audio AND guitar audio through the Helix's headphones jack. The sound card in my PC is an Asus Xonar D2X but It doesn't have an AUX Line Out and at present just powers my Logitach G51 speaker system. Is there a way of connecting the D2X to the Helix so that I can have music and guitar playing from the headphone jack on the Helix together, or seemingly like everything else these days do I need to buy something to make it work :) Thank you for any advice
  7. Thanks John. That's good to know. Cheers
  8. Thanks for the response.. Yes I've tried the reset procedure. And yes I've purchased the Fremen Big Pack & Add On pack.. However these weren't installed on initial boot failure after the firmware was updated. So I'm guessing whatever it is, is either a glitch in the factory firmware/software? Otherwise than the very odd time when it freezes on boot the Helix functions perfectly.
  9. Just recently bought my Helix and am enjoying it :) As soon as it arrived I updated the firmware to 2.30, then after the flash I rebooted it. It seemed to lock up & didn't reboot so after a couple of minutes I turned it off and on again and it fired up normally with the new firmware installed. I didn't think much of it but a couple of times now the display has frozen on boot, so I have to turn off and on again, after which it responds normally. Is this a known issue?
