  1. Hey all. Don’t spend much time on here and I’m new to running 2 rigs. Sorry if this has been discussed before. I didn’t search very long to check. But..... i want to run 2 bass rigs at once with the HX and my existing board. So, I have an Electric Power Unit into a GK Neo 410 and a Peavey Musician 400 series into a Fender bassman 410. I want the Electic/GK for the dirty rig, the peavey/Fender the clean. Whats the best way to do it?? I want to run my board into the dirty rig and the HX to go to the clean rig. Right now I’m running my dirty rig out of my board which is the main (mono) out on the HX. Then I have a one SEND from the HX to the clean rig. I like it this way. But then I can’t really manipulate what’s happening with the clean rig that much. Just levels really. What I would really like to do is find a way to be able to run some effects from the HX into the clean too but without the them running to the dirty rig. I have my whole board, preamps, dirt and wah, whammy and octave stuff going to the dirty. I have the HX send going to the clean rig. I’d like to add the obsidian model to the clean but not the dirty. How would i do that?? Should I be running the HX to the clean in a different manner other than using the send??? Thanks for any help and or suggestions all!! Great to be here.
  2. I’ve been messing with the update for a bit. The new dist models are great with bass! I’m very happy with the edit too. Line 6, keep up the great work!
  3. Just saw a post by digital igloo and all the stuff they’re updating. A lot more than I expected. This is great!!! Still no word on WHEN it’s coming. But it’ll be any day now I’m sure. Eagerly awaiting. Patiently though. It’s a great list of goodies coming guys.
  4. I would never let an editor update, or lack there of, keep me from making music. I’m sorry for you if that prevents you from doing the same.
  5. It’s very apparent you just can’t please everyone. I’ve learned deadlines aren’t always met in the gear world. And it’s not for lack of trying. I don’t hold it against said company. Not the way you are. And it gets to me when people do. Not sure why but it does. But I’m not losing my head over it.
  6. My goodness, there are some real babies out there! Just accept it and move on. I want the HX Edit update just as bad as everyone one else. I use the HX every day. But it’s no use bad mouthing thier marketing and release techniques. Ok, maybe not bad mouthing but def complaining. I think it made a lot of sense to do it the way they did it. And I can’t wait to the new Edit release! But I’ll wait patiently and not complain about it. Too much anyway ;)
  7. Well hopefully it is a good one to use. I could most likely make the one that came came with the HX work. But yes, it is huge and bulky. If I end up putting the HX on my board it would end up taking out at least 5 to 7 pedals. At least. Which would leave room for the line 6 power. But having a smaller one would be a nice option. Thanks for sharing robberns. Let us know if you find out if it’s good to go when you can.
