Yeah, the loop that you’re using for the 4cm needs to be on all the time to use your amps preamp section.

I’ve just picked up a replacement HX as the first one kept doing this after being on 40 minutes, this new one is doing the same. Just done all the updates 30 mins ago and it hasn’t done it since so fingers crossed. In 2 minds whether to just get a refund because I’ve got an 8 week tour coming up and if it goes lollipop up mid tour I’m screwed....

Just picked up my replacement HX and after 40 mins of use it freezes and won’t bootup, exactly the same as the one it’s replaced. Before I get a refund is there an easy fix for this? Cheers!

*Edit- fixed. Bad brand new patch cable!!!* I can’t get the 4 cable method working. All cables are in correctly, the fx loop block is in the signal chain but when it’s turned on I get no sound at all. When it’s off I get the direct sound straight to the power section of my amp, no pre-amp sound. Any help is greatly appreciated!

I’m doing this but when the HX loop is active I get no sound at all, when it’s off there’s sound but with all the amp bypassed. Any ideas?
