I hope this helps anyone with the same problem I did. Once you've got the "Line 6" folder in application, right click the folder and click on "get info" there you will be able to edit the access. On the right you'll see a gold lock, click on it and put in your user password, then once that is complete give read and write access to "system, wheel, and everyone"/ Hope this helps!
