I don't remember there being a separate tab for factory/user. The factory presets were on the only list that I've ever seen. You can use them, delete them, modify them, etc. There were also empty presets on that list to make your own. Perhaps you're confusing this with like the Pod Go which indeed does have separate tabs for these. Larry

I'm currently using the HX Effects with a Joyo R-15 Preamp House pedal which acts as a 2 channel preamp (clean and gain channels) and direct box. It even has an effects loop. It's doing a decent job for me for going directly into the soundboard as it has an XLR direct out with ground lift. I tried the Two Notes Le Clean as well and while it has a decent clean channel the gain channel sounded like garbage to me. I was wondering what everyone else might be using in this way to go direct into the sound board when using HX Effects? Always looking for ways to improve things. Appreciate any feedback - THANKS!

It's really a crime that Line 6 didn't include that out of the gate! The product isn't really functional in those options if you can't remember what that snapshot and multi-fx switch do! Coming from an HX Effects I'm very frustrated and surprised at this lack of feature! Class action?

This needs to happen. Line 6 cheapened the Pod Go too much!!!! You can't rename/change color of foot switches in stomp mode so when you assign a parameter change to a foot switch, you no longer have a descriptive label of what the effect is! You can't rename snapshots either. This would have been two deal killers had I known this before purchasing!

The feature of allowing parameter changes instead of bypass usage for a foot switch is super useful! The fact that you can't label the foot switch - or change it's color - makes this feature not usable if you do this with more than one block in a preset! I sure hope they address this issue!

If this were available as a stand alone app, and they made it possible to create patches that could be exported to hardware (e.g. pod go, hx effects, etc.) I'd be all over this!

Can you create patches in Helix Native that you can transfer to Pod Go? Thanks, Larry

This is my setup using the 4 cable method. I'm connecting to a Joyo R-15 Preamp House pedal that is essentially a two channel guitar preamp with 9 amp models to choose from. It has an effects send and return connectors just like an actual guitar amp. Under global settings all input/output/fx send/fx return levels are set to instrument level. I recently downloaded a HX patch from Worship Tutorials into my HX FX. The patch had no FX send/return block in it. When I place one in the signal path where I typically do (after compressor, distortion and before modulations and reverbs), I experience a notable volume drop and the sound is much thinner. I know I can adjust for the volume in the FX loop blocks setting, but it still sounds thin and tinny compared to when the block is disabled. Would greatly appreciate any insight and suggestions on this issue. THANKS! Also should add that I tried just going guitar into the input on the HX and output on the HX into the input on the Joyo preamp and that also sounds thin and tinny compared to the 4 cable hookup with the FX loop block not in the signal path or disabled.
