Dear all, I have had problems with my Flextone III dropping for about 8 years. The volume / tone returns when the channel is re-selected. I have started using my guitar again during lockdown and decided that I should either attempt to repair the amp or throw it away. With nothing to lose I followed some of the advice on this forum. I purchased electrical contact cleaner, opened the amp and then sprayed it in the 10 dials (drive - master). It has completed fixed my amp. At first the dials felt very easy to turn but they have now returned to about normal. Worth a try if you are having the same trouble. I have never posted before but was really pleased to have found a solution after waiting so long :)
