Hello, I've recently bought a Flextone III XL and I'm pretty disapointed. I have the same problem detailed in this old post (I don't know why Line 6 locked all topics) http://line6.com/support/message/476712 In my case, volume changes coicide when the light of the channel turns off (both in the floorboard and in the amp). Can it be caused by a digital issue? I know lots of people had the same problem with this amp. Does anybody knows how to fix it? Technical support is very very far away from my home. I can't belive Line 6 don't tell me anything but "take it to the technical support". For what I've seen this is a typical issue of this amp. I would apreciate any help you could give me.

The pins of the connection from input output board (1 to 6) to the A/D Board are shorten to the back casing. Isolating the caseing in this area whith tape solved the problem. nice mixing everyone M20D Rocks (pictures come later)

Hi all! I am new to the Line 6 family, have recently purchased a Line 6 Helix and am loving it and its flexibility! Now I want to move onto the Variax line of guitars, especially for the alternate tunings as I play in a cover band and we split between standard, 1/2 step, and full step down. Whilst at home I really enjoy the heavier side of music, in particular Drop B tuning... So the question is: Will the Variax Standard ($1400 AUD odd) be able to do this sort of tuning (Drop B) or do I need to go the Shruiken model...? Price isn't really a major issue, as you get what you pay for in everything, its more that I didnt want the 'full metal guitar look'... Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Cheers Trent

AMPLIFi 75/150/TT/FX100 streams music, but app will not connect
Line6Tony posted a article in AMPLIFi Series
We have seen a variety of behaviors where the app is indicating a good connection to the hardware, but it is not actually communicating with the hardware. Music will still stream from the device, but the app will not connect to the hardware. This can happen following a firmware update over Bluetooth or during any app connection. In order to avoid or resolve this, we suggest the following: Android For AMPLIFi 75/150/TT, first try a factory reset on the AMPLIFi on to clear out any of it's stored Bluetooth settings. To perform a factory reset, press and hold the master volume knob and the 'tone' button as you power on the unit. turn the amp off and press and hold both the 'Tone' and Master Volume down as you power on the amp. Keep holding them both down until you see the LED's around the Master Volume light up. For AMPLIFi FX100, turn the pedal off and press and hold both the 'Tap' and Master Volume down as you power on the pedal. Keep holding them both down until you see the display light up with '01'. Next, on your mobile device, make sure that the AMPLIFi Remote app is fully closed and not running in the background. Within your mobile device Bluetooth settings you will need to delete any entries for AMPLIFi if possible. Press and hold the Bluetooth button on the AMPLIFi for 2 seconds until it begins to flash. It should then shortly appear within your mobile device Bluetooth settings, tap on it to re-pair. Try again to launch AMPLIFi Remote app, tap the menu button located in the upper left of the app and look to see if it shows that your AMPLIFi is 'connected' or not. iOS For AMPLIFi 75/150/TT, first try a factory reset on the AMPLIFi on to clear out any of its stored Bluetooth settings. To perform a factory reset, press and hold the master volume knob and the 'tone' button as you power on the unit. Turn the amp off and press and hold both the 'Tone' and Master Volume down as you power on the amp. Keep holding them both down until you see the LEDs around the Master Volume light up. For AMPLIFi FX100, turn the pedal off and press and hold both the 'Tap' and Master Volume down as you power on the pedal. Keep holding them both down until you see the display light up with '01'. Next, on your iOS device, make sure that the AMPLIFi Remote app is fully closed by double tapping on the home button and swiping up across the AMPLIFi Remote app. Than within your iOS device Bluetooth settings you will need to 'forget' any entries for AMPLIFi, by tapping the 'i' to the right of any AMPLIFi entry and than tapping 'Forget this device'. Than press and hold the Bluetooth button on the AMPLIFi for 2 seconds until it begins to flash. It should than shortly appear within your iOS device Bluetooth settings, tap on it to re-pair. Than try again to launch AMPLIFi Remote app, tap the menu button located in the upper left of the app and look to see if it shows that your AMPLIFi is 'connected' or not. If your AMPLIFi is detected by the AMPLIFi Remote app, the next thing to do is to apply the available firmware update using the instructions found at the link below: http://line6.com/sup...ifirmwareupdate -
Here is a comparison I did with the Helix using Simple Pitch vs the Digitech Drop pedal. I used clean and distorted tones. https://youtu.be/EKk4Jo47M58

Had an issue the other day playing a festival where my rig dropped significantly in volume during a set. I haven't had this issue in the past. Luckily our sound guy was able to boost me in the main but still a concern. Signal Chain: Guitar > T.C. Electronic Polytune > Boss NS-2 > Pod HD500 >Crown XLS 1000 (running Input Y/Bypass into 2 cabs) What happened: Was playing fine at a normal volume, after a song I used my Polytune to tune. When I turned my tuner off my volume had dropped significantly. I don't believe it has anything to do with the tuner or NS-2 causing a sudden volume decrease as my tone was still the same (as I use the Pod as an amp modeler) all I had was a level drop. Is this an issue with the Pod? I updated firmware about 2-3 months ago but I will be updating tonight and will be downsizing to one cab which will hopefully resolve the issue but I was curious if this is a known issue with the Pods.

Hi, I've had my G30 for almost a year. Recently I've been experiencing signal loss from the transmitter during gigs...not good. The LED's on the transmitter go off completely, and what I have to do is shake it around, press the battery door, open it, close it, whatever I have to do until eventually it comes back on again. It must be something to do with the battery compartment/connection issue. I've tried using elastic bands around it to try and keep the door firmly closed but that didn't seem to work. Everytime I've replaced batteries I have opened and closed the door the correct way by using the clip. This is really frustrating because it is happening at every gig now, and is really embarrassing especially when it happens during important guitar parts. I bought it from Thomann.de, so before I return it I want to see if people have had the same problem and if they rectified it? Or if there is something I am overlooking. Thanks, Dave.

Hello, I have two XD-V55 units rack mounted side by side. I notice that the one with the lapel mic goes from 100% signal to 0% and then then back to 100% randomly. It's as if the unit is searching for a better channel or something. It is never more than 30' away and has true line of sight. The last time it did it, I was literally ten feet away from the rack and it was doing it every couple minutes the entire time I used it. It has done this since I've had it (maybe a year and a half?). I only use it about 6 times per year but it is used for wedding ceremonies, so it's very embarrassing when the officiant is talking and it keeps cutting in and out. Of course everyone looks at me thinking I'm messing something up. I've been meaning to look into this for a long time, and I'm finally getting around to doing it. The one with the mic works fine. I also tested the TBP12 transmitter with a guitar cable to eliminate a mic issue, and it does the same thing. Any thoughts, ideas or suggestions?
