  1. Hey everyone! I’m using the Pod Go as my full live board going direct into a mixing board/PA. My technical knowledge of this stuff is basically -1 so id appreciate any help, especially if i need to buy something as i have a gig next week I’ve used the Pod Go live 3 times so far. Currently I plug a standard instrument cable out of the left/mono output on the pod go and straight into the mixing board. I also plug a cheap in ear system out of the phone out output I usually set the main volume knob on the pod go close to max. I also have a 1/4 male trs to xlr cable but never used it. I dont have a di box, at one gig the sound guy told me to plug into one, the two other times the mixing board was nearby so i just went with a regular cable. Is this setup flawed? Also, in the global settings under ins/outs, i have no clue what to set for these three settings for a full simulation direct to PA: Main Out Level (Line i suppose?) Amp Out Source (Main Out no? Does this setting even affect the left/mono main out jack?) Volume Knob (Main Outs, Amp Out, or Both? I set my volume through the amp channel volume and boost it for my lead) Thanks a lot for the help, yea i'm really bad at this ..lol
  2. Hey, I was just wondering what's the correct process with the volume knob and going into a mixingboard and PA system, using the pod go as my full rig (amp + cab + pedals) Reading the documentation, it seems that if I want to send the full signal to the mixing board (and control my overall volume through the mixing board) I need to set my volume knob to main out in the setting, and keep the actual knob at 100% on the pod go. Is it correct ? Thank you
  3. Hi everyone, here's a question that get asked probably a lot. Sorry. Basically i've been using the pod go with headphone in my bedroom for the longest time. That's all I have (I have guitars aswell eh ) I'm trying to join a band but the place where they rehearse is pretty much an empty room (I've been told there's only a mixing table) I know nothing about equipements, but I suppose a mixing table implies that there are speakers in the room with it ? Anyway I'm in desperate need to buy equipement fast to be able to play with them. I think that in the future I want to stay with the whole amp modeling technology and probably do not wish to get myself a full amp stack. So what could I buy to be able to play with a band ? I've read of FRFR speaker like the headrush, but from what I've seen it's mixed review: some people swear by it, and for some it's only good to be able to hear yourself ( like to point it towards you). I've also seen the line 6 powercab, but it's a bit expensive.. I've never done any gig, i've never done any research into amp/cab and all that part of guitar playing, as i'm in appartement. I'm very much a noob into it, but I need to buy something fast. All I know is the marshall stack I see on stage lol. Any recommendation ? a speaker that can make myself heard with a band in a room. I play with a distortion and gain, and usually metal if that helps. I'd like to go no more than 600euros ( 700 dollars) if possible. Cheers!!
