I use my JTV-69 with a Boss GT-100. I am using the Natural Clean patch as base, turn off the pre-amp on the patch and it sounds fantastic. I was playing it a gig and people were impressed by how it sounded like an acoustic guitar. So the key thing is turn off amp modeling on your pedal.
