  1. I just tracked a couple minutes with PT10 and had the same issues on playback OSX 10.8.5 . (mid-2010 Macbook Pro, 8 gig of ram) The longer I let it play the worse it got.
  2. When you tap in a tempo, the light should continue to flash on the DOWNBEAT of the tempo you just tapped. HD500 did this, HD500x did this, my Timeline does this, etc etc. Currently, it flashes on the UPBEAT instead. I often am tapping into a click and after tapping you (NORMALLY!) get see the light flashing in sync with the click and you have quick visual confirmation that you tapped in correctly. It's completely backward on the Helix, and the only reason I can imagine for it being this way is a couple lines of bad code that need to be corrected! It's hard to see exactly what it's doing wrong with quarter note taps, so if you want to examine for yourself, I recommend tapping half notes (tap on the 1 and 3 of a 4 beat measure.) The light will faithfully flash on the 2 & 4. Cmon guys, you had it right for 5 years with the HD500… please fix this in the Helix.
  3. Updater 1.01 and Firmware 1.03 supposed to work with Win 10… released today
  4. Reset with FS7 and FS8 restores all patches to factory but does not delete any IRs you have imported.

    Adding Blocks

It's a question I've seen a couple places. You can move any block anywhere on the chain and it will automatically shuffle things around. SO, to insert a new block, just go to an empty block and create your new block. Then hit ACTION button and it will "lift" the new block. Now move it up the chain with the joystick to wherever you want it and just drop it in. Everything shuffles to make room for it. Press the joystick knob to drop it into place. We're accustomed to making space first then creating; Just create the block anywhere there's room and move it to where you want.
