  1. I think it may have something to do with your screen time-out prefs on your operating system(?), as I notice my Stadium XL desktop app will disconnect whenever the screen logs me out, and I have to reconnect to wifi as soon as I log back on.
  2. Go here: https://line6.com/software/ and select Helix Stadium in the menu
  3. I must be doing something incorrectly. I have a backing track I want installed onto stadium to play along with. I converted and dragged the WAV file to the New Song area. From here I want to play it and use one of my presets to play along with it. I would think I could use the command center to launch the song using an available switch. In Librarian view I see the backing track but it won't launch or play. Any tips?
  4. I just noticed that myself. Made me realize just how often I was making minor adjustments. Much appreciated!
  5. That is exactly the issue I ran into; makes sense. Thanks !
  6. I am wondering if the command center would be best for this type of multi assignments. Not that I am proficient at using it, but would think you can set to either toggle between the two, or set the button for press on one effect, and release for the other? I believe the light ring would follow.
  7. I am having limited success as well in renaming presets, and deleting presets; both in the user folder or in library, and on the Helix screen. I'd say 25% of the time I am successful, but it is hit & miss, with no apparent reasoning that I can duplicate. I will try the recommendation above from silverhead.
  8. My issue was auto connecting with Stadium. I had to input the device IP each time. The fix was to uninstall/reinstall, and now it is auto-connecting.
  9. "I am unable to get any signal out of the unit via a 1/4 input" This happened to me yesterday, and I ended up rebooting, which solved the issue. Makes me a little apprehensive for live situations, though.
  10. Will try that again tonight. I have some issues connecting automatically via wifi, and Line 6 support wants me to uninstall the app, and reinstall. Perhaps this will also clear up the issues I am having with the sorting. Thanks
  11. Agreed- my old eyes could not find the faint line if my life depended on it! I even counted down the number of Angoura amps, and could not spot it.
  12. Is there a way to sort the presets once in the user folder, whether doing this on the helix or through the desktop app? Also, when you delete a preset file from the user list, it might be nice to be able to shift all files up to tighten up the list.
  13. Thanks for the info. Seems strange that they would allow the end user to create folders if it causes problems.
  14. "outputs all go dead silent". When this happens, have you ever tried just moving your expression pedal? I have noticed my old helix had a dead spot when moving from patch to patch. Total silence until the pedal was moved just a little. They came up with a firmware fix for this, and maybe it is also happening with the new product?
  15. Makes me sweat just thinking about this happening, especially after this morning. So I used my board live for the first time today. I was a bit apprehensive about having the familiarity to use it live this early, but figured I had my old Helix out in my vehicle if anything went wrong. Everything was setup and tested dozens of times over the past few days. I was just marching through the 5 presets we would be playing just moments before practice, and one of my presets just vanished from view after pressing a button! Can't even recall which button. I tend to setup the Helix with Presets on top row and Snapshots on the bottom. The button I pressed landed the preset somewhere into the vast User folder, where I have hundreds of saved presets imported from my old Helix. I can only imagine I hit some sort of Delete, and since it was in a folder I created for Live play, I was able to find another version in the User folder? I had to quickly find it and figure out what tap-dance I was going to need to do when it came to quickly getting to that particular song, and then back again. Makes me think the safest thing is to start utilizing the Setlist feature moving forward for the live situations?
