  1. What if I'm just jamming? There's latency regardless?
  2. Is there a way to use bluetooth headphones instead of monitor speakers or wired headphones?
  3. Is there another method if you don't wanna load up cubase every time? Like just turn the computer on and your guitar is ready to be heard
  4. Doesn't have to be XLR right? could also be 1/4"? And just to confirm, the routing should be: pod out -> interface in? But then why can't you just route the pod output directly into the computer's input jack? The pod is an audio interface itself. Get a 1/4" to 1/8" cable or something and plug the 1/4" into the pod's output and the 1/8" into the stereo input on your motherboard?
  5. Hmm I should give this a try using my sonic port. But I don't have garagebang in my ipad lol. Is it free?
  6. Try switching to ASIO POD HD500 in Reaper and see if your system still crashes?
  7. Why can't what I said also imply that I could hear the changes as they're made? What should I have said instead to mean what I said? But going to line6bbd's suggestion, no it doesn't fix it. Only pressing the save button the POD fixes the issue. I made this video and sent a ticket to line6 a couple of months back and Pete from Line 6 Support said: "Thank you for the detailed video and explanation. I was able to reproduce the issue hear with my HD500X, and I'm getting similar results. It seems to be jumping in volume every-time the preset is saved, and you go back to the preset. This is not something I have a fix for, but I can inform our team here and log the bug. I'm not sure when a resolution will be available." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k3TfXOotrXA
  8. But "Won't address the problem of not being able to hear the changes as you make them, without double-clicking on the patch again?" =/= "Whenever I make a change in the editor like raising the volume of a patch and sending it, the change can only be heard if I switch to that patch by double clicking on it." And going way back when you said "What I don't have is the other problem you mention...I can hear the changes I make on the fly as I make them, without having to double click on the same patch again. No idea what's up with that. You might want to try re-installing the edit software. " What is this other problem that I mentioned? I only mentioned 1 problem
  9. So what did you mean by " Won't address the problem of not being able to hear the changes as you make them, without double-clicking on the patch again?
  10. Yea the original issue that I had was that the changes couldn't be heard AFTER sending the patch. And they could only be heard only when I double click on the patch from the editor. Pressing the footswitch only brought up the pre-send settings even though I kept sending and sending. The fix was to press the save button on the POD itself. But as Crusinon said, his issue is that he can't hear any changes WHILE actually changing them BEFORE sending. THIS issue, I do not have.
  11. Wait, I actually don't have that problem  I can hear the changes as I tweak any patch.
  12. Or pressing the save button on the POD?
  13. My asterisks disappear after sending. Not sure what you guys are talking about.
  14. Whenever I make a change in the editor like raising the volume of a patch and sending it, the change can only be heard if I switch to that patch by double clicking on it. If I step on the footswitch for that patch, the volume is still at what it was before the "send". Anyone know what is happening?
