For better visibility e.g. at outdoor gigs it would be great to have black letters on white background as option for the stompbox mode. Should be easy to do, because in preset mode this is the normal operation mode. The scribble strip of the active preset shows black letters on white background, the inaktive show white letters on black. So I have tried it with "MIDI PC Send and Receive" both turned off. no luck! immediately when I hit the switch that I´ve assigned to MIDI CC69, the helix goes nuts! With a MIDI-Monitor App. connectet with the Helix-USB to my MacBook I can see that the Helix ist sending the MIDI CC69 command over and over without stop. Only when I pull the MIDI-Cable it stops. Is it possible that this behavior is a bug only in Helix Rack / Helix Control? Some members here do use this Trick. But could it be that they all have only the Helix Floor Model? Very sad would be a very helpfull function for me....

Tryed it on both FW 2.10 and FW 2.21. Should I get one of these: http://miditech.de/en-248-produkte-midithru to make it work?

And will it support the Helix control? (Because that would be all sorts of cool!) It's a possibility, but no work's been done. There is a USB port on the back of Helix Control, after all. yes please!!! I own three helix control´s and one rack unit. i carry around the rack unit, while one control stays at home and two controls in two different rehearsal rooms. so I could only carry around my macbook pro with the helix native if I like so. and also have a perfect backup unit if the rack has a problem. so please, please please !!! I even would pay for this option, shure !!!

Bose L1 Compact, powerfull and good! I have two of them (one in each rehearsal room). In nearly 3 years I was never forced to use both of them on stage. I also use the Bose T1 Mixer.
