  1. It may not be perfect and it might be too bulky for a live application but it will work in the meantime. At least until they released the d10 expander: I ran my Variax guitar (via VDI cable) into my original helix and then I split the magnetic pickup and the piezo into two paths. I sent the magnetic pickup out of send 1 and the piezo pickup out of send 2. I then ran two ts cables from the sends into the two instrument inputs on the Stadium XL. I made a patch on the Stadium XL with two separate inputs: one with instrument input 1 and the other instrument input 2. After that you can do whatever. You got to still have to use the original Helix to control the Variax, unless you setup a midi cable and program it. Hope this helps. Thanks!
  2. When you install the Helix Stadium software, it will prompt you with a pop-up to access your Local Network when trying to connect. It's best to click "Allow" then your Helix Stadium software should connect to your Stadium device. If you don't have permissions turned on, then you can do it manually though System Settings: Choose Apple menu > System Settings, then click Privacy & Security in the sidebar. (You may need to scroll down.) Click Local Network. For Helix Stadium, turn the ability to access your local network to ON.
  3. I've noticed after setting up a great electric guitar/mic/aux backing preset using the Matrix Mixer - and then setting up another preset for acoustic piezo/mic/aux with different Matrix Mixer settings - that it completely messed up the original mix for the electric. I totally get the usefulness of having the Matrix Mixer be Global, but for me it would be much more useful if it could be saved per-preset. So my question - am I seriously missing something here? I don't see a Global setting for the Mixer being Global vs Preset. If it is always Global, I'd put in a request for having it Per-Preset as an option. Hopefully someone will tell me I'm an idiot and there's an easy fix. I'm a longtime Pod>Helix user, and a retired pro sound designer - but I am getting long in the tooth and sometimes miss the obvious. BTW, if anyone from Line 6 sees this - kudos to all!!! The Stadium XL is a spectacular piece of gear!!!
