Hi folks, Santa (or my daughter, lol) bought me a Pod Express Bass for Christmas. I am running a very small pedal board and the Pod Express will allow me to dip my toe into an all-around effects pedal to try some things out. My question: Where to put the Pod Express Bass in my signal chain? Right now, this is the signal chain I am running (see attached picture): Two basses via cable into a Radial Bigshot I/O so I can hot swap basses between songs Into a very basic Donner footswitch tuner From the tuner into a Tech 21 SansAmp, which either goes to our band FOH system or to the venue FOH system via XLR. I am thinking of dropping the Pod Express in AFTER the tuner but BEFORE the SansAmp. Thoughts? Advice? Many thanks! Paul Our band: https://thealteredegos.com/

If POD Express not connecting or you have a failed update process, please try out these steps with either Line 6 Central, OR POD Express Edit. 1. Open Line 6 Central- Verify that you have the latest version installed 2. Connect POD Express to computer with the USB-C connection 3. Update mode: Press and hold both Footswitches as you plug in power connection, or 1/4" cable for the guitar input. 4. You should get a “Generic Device Detected” popup. Click ‘Identify’. With POD Express Edit, you may need to click the cloud icon on the top left corner. 5. Choose the POD Express from the devices shown. 6. Reinstall the latest firmware. 7. Follow the prompts once the firmware installation is complete. 8. Perform Factory Reset(optional). Factory Reset: Press and hold both Footswitches and plug in power (with NO USB connection)

POD Express or POD Express Bass: Start by powering POD Express off and disconnecting any USB cable. While holding both the ON and TAP footswitches, power on the device: • If using batteries, connect a 1/4" cable into the device's IN jack to power on. • If using a power adapter, connect the adapter to the DC IN to power on. When powering on the device, you’ll see all the AMP encoder’s LEDs flash white briefly three times indicating the factory reset was successful.
