  1. 1. Download and install our update application utility called Line 6 Central. You'll be able to find the download here on our downloads page: https://line6.com/software/. 2. Once you have that installed, you'll need to boot up the HX One in update mode. Do this by pressing and holding down the LEFT arrow while powering on the HX One. You may not see any screen, only a blank screen when it's in this update mode (The HX One should go into update mode in any case where the update fails on it's own. Holding down the left arrow will just force it to go into this state manually). 3. Connect the HX One to your computer with a USB-C cable. Make sure its connected directly to your computer. No hubs or secondary connections. If you're on a desktop computer, connect it to the back of the machine near the power cable. Be sure to disconnect any MIDI cables during this process (If MIDI clock is sent to the HX One during the update process, the update may not complete. Disconnecting MIDI cables prevents this from happening with third-party devices). 4. Once you launch Line 6 Central, it will ask you if you want to identify the unknown device. Click "Identify", then you should see a list of devices on your screen. Select "HX One". Be sure to login with your Line 6 Username, and then select "Perform Update" for the latest version. This should allow the update to install 100%, and it will display "Update Successful" on the screen. 5. Once the update is installed, you may need to power cycle the HX One, by disconnecting the power cable, and re-connecting. If the update was installed properly, the HX One will boot normally showing the update version on the LCD screen.
  2. Here are some recovery steps if the update fails when using HX Edit, or Line 6 Updater on your system. Make sure your laptop is connected to power, or be sure to check your USB cable connections. If you're on a desktop system, we recommend connecting to the rear USB ports near the power source. 1) Download and install the latest version of HX Edit BEFORE you run the update. This installation will also include the latest drivers. If you're on a Windows computer, it may be helpful to restart after the installation. https://line6.com/software/ 2) Put your Helix into update mode, by pressing and holding buttons 6 and 12 while you power on the Helix. For the HX Stomp, press and hold down the RIGHT page button while power on the device. (You may get a blank screen that is white, or black - this is normal for the HX Stomp) 3) Use Line 6 Central or the Line 6 Updater (NOT HX Edit) to run the latest firmware update again. Make sure only Line 6 Central or the Line 6 Updater is running during the update, close all other recording applications. (If the Helix is in update mode, it should show up on the screen when updater is open after you sign-in. If the Helix doesn’t appear, try re-booting the Helix normally, you should also try different USB ports on your Mac or PC).
  3. So the history is today arrived my Pod Go, everything work as intended, but later I tried to install the Go Edit software... Everything worked until it asked me to update the firmware. The update failed. Now my Pod Go won't even boot, just shows up the blank pod go logo. What I've tried: Reinstall all drivers (won't fix) Tried to update with Line 6 Updater (Neither Go Edit & L6 Updater recognaise the device is connected) All the avobe but in Update Mode (Nothing :) ) All the avobe with another USB (Nope) Factory reset (Doesn't do anything) I know the factory reset shortcut is "press C&D buttons while powering on" but doesn't seem to do nothing. Maybe I should reclaim, and forget all the affliction it's causing me. Please help.
  4. I just received my amplifi 75. Tried updating over bluetooth and update failed. But I cannot factory reset the amplifier, I powered down the amp, pressed down the Master volume button and tone button. Nothing happened. I powered it down again and did the same thing for a minute nothing happened. I even kept pressing them for 5 minutes and nothing happened! Is there a way around this is there something wrong I'm doing??
  5. A failed firmware attempt can have a number of causes. Computer users may be having USB hardware or driver configuration issues, while mobile device users may experience Bluetooth range or interference issues. In any event, a failure in the update process will produce the following page: In our experience, in addition to using Update Mode as laid out on the above page, the best results come from using the USB updater, possibly on multiple computers in case a given computer is experiencing USB configuration issues. We have seen some users experience update issues with older Firehawk drivers still installed on Windows. Go to My Computer > Device Manager > Firehawk then right click "Uninstall Drivers" make sure you click the box saying "Remove Files" Then unplug your Firehawk, plug it back in and repeat these steps until Windows doesn't have any more drivers installed to assign to the Firehawk. Finally, reinstall the latest driver and let Windows assign it.
  6. It drives me crazy that this device started with iOS only and suddenly they switch support to windows. Why can I not update through my mac? I have another post on here describing my woes when updating through my iOS devices. For the past 3 days i have had a fancy looking speaker with blinking lights. Going back to Guitar Center to see if they will let me return it.
