hello, i picked up a secondhand Pod xt live (think variax edition) and i'm wondering if i'm missing out on some software i cant connect either to internet (monkey gives me this error : Code 8000200E no client for protocol exists) is there a way to make this work? i can make a VM with win 7,vista,xp but dont know if its worth the trouble currently running win 11 i'm using Line 6 monkey v1.33 gearbox 3.72.0 kind regards Sietze

Hello music community! I just got a used POD XT Live a month ago, I'm really enjoying the hardware since it's my first ever experience with pedals/pedalboard (I realize this equipment is more than that). Recently I wondered, what those multiple softwares available are? I tried plugin' in the USB and downloading the driver + Line 6 edit + some other softwares but it doesn't seem to recognize the device from the USB door. I'm here to ask for a general guidance to start exploring this tool. Thank You! Is it possible to have more than one output? like one for recording on the PC and other to the amp. I got a crap laptop so I don't know if I'll get delay or noise since the audioboard might be crap too.

When I got my Variax Shuriken guitar, I had to arrange the external wah-wah pedal with my PODXTLIVE. By doing that, the sound coming out when using the wah-wah pedal is completely different. Originally the connection was Guitar "in" to wah-wah pedal "out" from wah-wah to "input" POD pedal and "output" to the Amp. Now with the Shurikan-Variax connected (network cable) to the POD pedal I have to use "output" from the POD "in" to wah-wah pedal "out" from wah-wah to the Amp. That make's differents in loudness (is louder), and the movement of the foot (up & down) has to be minimal, otherwise, notes are almost muted. Is there any way to somehow make this signal flow better; or do I have to get used to it that way? -
So, my PC doesn't recognize my POD XT Live driver. Everything worked fine until today, now the driver has stopped working and it is saying that it's not installed (device is listed as unknown in device manager). Reinstalled it multiple times, still saying it doesn't recognize it. I did use the device with Ableton a few days ago and it stopped working after that, but I don't really think it's because of that though. -
hi folks, first time posting! im hoping to get a POD XT Live soon. i just lay down what im hoping to do with it, and you tell me if its possible ok? hopefully some of you will chime in with some educated info. ok here we go... my interest here lies in playing live gigs, so keep that in mind. ok.... - i want to use the direct output to the sound guy - while SIMULTANEOUSLY using an output to my poweramp/cab - that way the sound guy has his pristine guitar signal for front of house/PAs and i get my own signal going to my amp and cab so i can control my stage volume without effecting anything else. can i do this? thanks a lot. -
okay so i'm brand new to line 6 monkey and gearbox and i have the podxt live. i installed all the latest drivers and updates and before doing that i backed up my old patches and tones. now my question is how can i get back those tones into my podxt live? is it possible to open that tone bundle and take some of my favorites and put them into specific presets? any info would be helpful, please, and if i've left any important info out just ask me. thanks again. -
Running Media Monkey v1.64 on a Win7-32-bit machine. It finds my guitar port no problem everytime, but refuses to recognize or connect to my PodXTLive/Variax 500 setup. I've tried reboots, loading drivers manually, but to no avail. Anyone have any advice?
