BlueViolince
Does anyone know what the exp-2 value defaults to when the expression pedal is removed? Is it the last known value, or min/max?
phil_m
Unplugging the second expression pedal doesn't really remove EXP-2. It just makes it so it's controlled by the onboard expression pedal. Clicking the toe-switch toggles makes the pedal toggle between EXP-1 and EXP-2. So if you go to a preset where EXP-2 was assigned to control a parameter (or multiple parameters), the value of those parameters will be whatever they were when you saved the preset. If you toggle the expression pedal to go to EXP-2, then you'll start changing the parameters.
BlueViolince
Oh, okay. Second question: when I use the toe switch to go back to exp-1, is the exp-2 value going to be the max value? I assume so, but just want to make sure.
musical1212
I have also wondered the same thing. If I am using the on board pedal for wah and volume, when I depress the volume pedal (EXP1) to go to the wah (EXP2), will the volume go all the way up? If so, this would make a good case for always using a separate expression pedal.
