You can try:

 

Q: How do I perform a factory Reset on the Spider IV series amplifiers?
A:
Hold the “A†button as you power the unit on, then press the presets encoder once.

But probably you will need to shoot a support ticket in as that does not look good.

That is very interesting. If the factory reset (from above) didn't work try re-flashing the amp. If you have any FBV pedal for your Spider amp, you can connect it via USB to your computer. Using the monkey utility you can update the amp. If this still doesn't work I would too suggest the support ticket.

My son's amp started doing EXACTLY the same thing last night. Nothing plugged in, all volume/drive dials turned to the left, but still a low, loud hum.

I've put a ticket in to Support and if I get any answers, I'll post them here. Hopefully, you might do the same.
