cruisinon2
At those prices?? It's gonna be all wealthy peoples who can afford the festival VIP tickets :) True. Ticket prices have become almost as laughable as many pro sporting events. Over a hundred bucks to STAND the whole friggin' time?? I don't care who's playing...ain't worth it.

There are some other "news" stories that refer to them as "The Phish"; not sure if these are satire, or just psychotic neo-Christianity fear mongering. Either way, amusing read! I mean, "Christwire" - gotta take that with a grain of salt or two... Or a whole pillar of salt! National Report is definitely satire, similar to The Onion.. http://christwire.org/2011/01/just-say-no-to-the-phish/ "Crisscrossing the country to promote a dangerous mix of communism, cybercrime and drug culture, notorious rock band “The Phish†is pushing American communities to the breaking point." http://christwire.org/2011/06/when-it-comes-to-the-phish-music-censorship-is-not-enough/ "More than any other group today, The Phish makes an active effort to skirt federal censorship laws by going out in the field to recruit young people into their disturbing lifestyle. With utmost delight, they have set their sights on the alluring, delicate men of our small towns." http://nationalreport.net/phishs-five-dangerous-subcultures/ "There are many traits common to all fans of The Phish: drug use, sexual deviance, contempt for authority, aversion to soap, and an affinity for dizzy trance-like funk music with questionable time signatures behind some of the most confusing lyrics ever assembled." stumblinman
Saw the Dead back in summer of 94 I believe. Camped at Autzen Stadium in Eugene Oregon for the weekend. They played Friday-Sunday and we went to Saturday. Could hear all three shows clear as day outside. Best weekend I can't remember......

I intended to move to Oregon back in 1999, ended up in Colorado instead. Still love the idea of 'The Great North Woods'.. The drummer from my band is moving to Oregon later this year, lucky fella!.. :)
ColonelForbin
Yeah, no luck for me on Ticketmaster or Mail Order.... And the scalpers are already re-selling tickets they just bought for over $2,000 each. On the plus side that's $$$ I can spend on more gear instead of concert tickets. The face value prices are even insane, and they even sold out the behind-stage and side-of-stage seats, with NO VIEW..... Crazy.
