jamesf93
I bought a TonePort UX2 a while back that came with the hardware-dependent pod farm. I now want to get rid of the TonePort and buy a new, non-Line 6 audio interface, which means I will no longer be able to use Pod Farm. Is there a discount for upgrading from the hardware dependent version to Pod Farm 2.5 with hardware independence? Or will I have to pay the full price for this? TheRealZap
no discount... once you get rid of the toneport... (which actually owns the license not you) then you have nothing to upgrade. it's always a full license purchase.
Brazzy
I would just keep the TonePort UX2 in case you want those tones later. I would have to be pretty desperate to part with mine.
bjnette
just keep it connected but not for any ins and outs
Triryche
just keep it connected but not for any ins and outs That would work for the plug-in version, if the OP even has a plug-in license, but not the real time Tone Direct monitoring. With some DAW's and computer configs, you may be able to monitor the plug-in in real time while recording with a usable latency. The original Toneports did not come with the plug-in license.
