pianoguyy
no, that's right. I mean, I don't have an actual count. But I know that most of the new amps are pre only.
Dshow
no, that's right. I mean, I don't have an actual count. But I know that most of the new amps are pre only. Any reason for that? Good to know, I almost never use Pre version of the amps, so model packs would be quite useless for me.

No, this information is incorrect. There should be more regular models than Pre models as some of the new models are ported from the XT, which didn't have Pre models. All models will appear as regular models, many will have Pre versions too, but not all.
pfsmith0
Don't ignore the Pres! They give you a whole 'nother set of sounds to choose from. Many are quite a bit different from their Full counterparts. Treat just like another amp choice.

Treat just like another amp choice. I found the pre versions great when using an actual amp. I found them incredibly terrible when going FRFR which makes sense because a pre amp with no power amp, speakers, or mic isn't expected to sound good. -Max

Treat just like another amp choice. Maybe I should give them more attention. I always saw them as for using with an external amp. Since I'm mostly play through my headphones and tweak the speaker options a lot I never gave much attention to the Pre's
