External volume pedal - which Ernie Ball pedal works with POD HD 500x

Hi group,

 

This has been asked about a million times, but I can't seem to find the answers in knowledge base.

 

Which Ernie Ball JR external pedal works with the POD HD 500X?  

 

I have the Line 6 Mission EXP-1 and it works pretty good.  But the tactile foot-feel is a bit weird for me.

 

Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks

You can use any volume pedal. But an external CONTROL pedal... the EXP-1 is really the best one.

I have a VP JR pedal. It's the one that says 25k on it. It works with my Line 6 M13 as an expression pedal, but I have not yet hooked it up to the 500x. I Won't be home until tomorrow night (Monday), but when I get home I will try it and report back.

I keep a 250K JR in the loop.  No impedance worries that way.  I don't think either would really be ideal as an expression pedal.

Yup. Just hooked it up it works great.
