Dave702
Hi. I have had my pod for about a month now and really like it and have learned my way around it, it's pretty easy to use. I have been using usb with my pod being the input and my audio interface being the output while recording with Logic Pro x. I would like to make use of the spdif and use that instead of usb, I won't get into why unless you want to know. So my gear is my 500x, a m-audio profire 610, and logic prox, I am using spdif now and it's working but I just want to know if I have it set up correctly. The sample rates match and are 44.1 and my interface is set to internal. When my interface is set to internal does that mean my interface is the master? And what should be the master? The pod or interface? Does it matter?
laxtlo
Hi, Check pod hd500x advanced guide "http://line6.com/data/6/0a06434c6fb051e03e8ab63dc/application/pdf/POD%20HD500X%20Advanced%20Guide%20-%20English%20%28%20Rev%20A%20%29.pdf" page 19 or pilot guide "http://line6.com/data/6/0a06434cb30151dddd9ae9314/application/pdf/POD%20HD500X%20Quick%20Start%20Guide%20-%20English%20%28%20Rev%20C%20%29.pdf" page 15 when using S/PDIF, be sure youve syncronized the external devices digital input to the POD HD500x´s S/PDIF digital output. Dave702
Hi, Check pod hd500x advanced guide "http://line6.com/data/6/0a06434c6fb051e03e8ab63dc/application/pdf/POD%20HD500X%20Advanced%20Guide%20-%20English%20(%20Rev%20A%20).pdf" page 19 or pilot guide "http://line6.com/data/6/0a06434cb30151dddd9ae9314/application/pdf/POD%20HD500X%20Quick%20Start%20Guide%20-%20English%20(%20Rev%20C%20).pdf" page 15 Thanks for the reply. I have read the manual and it doesn't state what should be used as the master. Everything seems to be working only option I have in my interface setting is sample rate, and I matched the AI and pods sample rated. And set the AI to internal which means it's the master. Just trying to understand the settings and if they are correct. Like I said the manual doesn't say if pod should be slave or master. Sorry for the noobness when using S/PDIF, be sure youve syncronized the external devices digital input to the POD HD500x´s S/PDIF digital output.
