CipherHost
Hey everyone, A drummer brought a Tascam 40 to a jam yesterday to record us play. I thought that was a pretty convenient way to objectively listen to how things sound afterward. Does anyone have experience with this type of device and have any suggestions or input about them? Thanks
pianoguyy
I have a Boss BR-800. If I have it with me, it is always running. I would never use the it for things I intended on handing out (lack of audio quality), but it is perfect for the thing you described. No real tips because every device is different, and everyone wants it for different reasons. But yes, always have something running.
CipherHost
Thanks! The Boss BR-800 looks like it bit more than I want, but like you said, everyone wants it for different reasons.
BillBee
I've used a L6 Backtrack (with built in mic) for years. Not to shabby options, compact, decent battery life (internal) and pretty inexpensive. -B
verlew
Zoom h2 works great for me...approx 6 hours battery life and a 4gb SD card will record most any gig...I just hit record, stick it somewhere in the room, and let it run until we load out.
