  1. Re: HD500 randomly switching into tuner mode...what was your solution?

The suggested fix is absent on the forum, and I’m having that issue now.

    thanks...

  2. I'm pretty content with line 6's comment that, in stereo mode the limiter kicks in to suppress the output volume level to protect the stereo speakers hence the squashed sounds. The FH just can't output 129db in stereo mode... More like 105. Sounds good in the living room, but you need to run mono on stage.
  3. I think this is the answer I've been looking for, (although it seems to limit using the FH1500 in STEREO MODE to lower-volume situations): In Stereo mode the monitor inputs only power the smaller coax speakers, this is why the limiter kicks in early, because you're only using the smaller speakers and you don't want to blow them. Stereo Wide utilizes the center speaker for full power. Mono mode also uses all the speakers for full power. Let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks, Will - Line 6 Support 0

  5. I think I'm having this too...any resolution?
  6. Just an FYI...I received my new FH1500, and I'd suggest everyone take a screwdriver to all of the screws...most of them took a half turn, and several took even more. Probably good to tighten thing up!
  7. I think that the xlr dropout has been fixed with the new update.
  8. I know these units aren't fully integrated, but, I have my Helix connected to my DT-25 via Line 6 link, and after I power down and restart the Helix, I'll have no sound until I unplug and then replug the Line 6 link cable. Is this expected behavior? Is there a global setting I'm missing? Thanks for any insight.

    Forum and Ipads

I've been having this issue also iPad Air 2 iOs 9.1...Kinda glad that it's not just me! Occasionally, (with persistence), I can tap a link in such a way as to get an "open in new tab" message. Seems like it's only started in the last few days, and I've migrated back to a laptop for this forum.
  10. Bump... New in box, ready to ship fast. $695 + actual shipping to your location. Add an unmolested hd500x for $350!
  11. Zoom h2 works great for me...approx 6 hours battery life and a 4gb SD card will record most any gig...I just hit record, stick it somewhere in the room, and let it run until we load out.
  12. I purchased this amplifier from WWBW to use up a store credit, but it's way more amp than my DT25, and way more than I need, so I never put it into service. New DT50's are becoming rare nowadays...$795, (+ship), if purchased via this forum. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Line-6-DT50-1x12-Guitar-Amplifier-NEW-IN-SEALED-BOX-Bogner-/231616034865?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item35ed643831 No nonsense here, check my eBay credentials, and feel free to contact me via eBay, which should confirm my ID, or thru this forum. 13. I don't want to start a flame here, but I own both L6 products and an AEII, and have played dozens of gigs with both companies' gear. Over the years, I've had two POD XTs die, an X3Live that had a mind of its own, and a DT-50 with a transformer fuse problem that required a return to CA. On the other hand, the AEII seems bulletproof, not to mention the continuous stream of updates, new amps, new effects, new cabs, etc. Just sayin'...there is some "getting what you pay for" here...
  14. "...and we cant modify a Live , the delay effetc like in the X3Live , that you move pots and sounds cool, now, i move the pots and do nothing" The HD series uses different "software" than the X3 series...no more "double click to edit". You are no longer limited to STOMP MOD DELAY and COMP buttons controlling only those specific effects. (You need to read and learn how the HD functions.) Instead, use the 4-way button to select the effect you wish to edit, double click ENTER, then make your parameter adjustments using the 1-4 buttons below the display. Then you'll sound cool again!
