pianoguyy Posted August 3, 2015 Share Posted August 3, 2015 It depends on what you are using it for. Most people use them to reduce 'line hiss'. Something that is natural sounding, that you don't even know is there. Some people want it as an effect. Sort of like Buckethead and his kill switch.
