oehman
I created a preset for path 1 guitar, path 2 vocals Path 1 is pitch wham, scream 808, split to (amp & cab) jazzrivet, (amp & cab) Zed, (amp & cab) split back to simple delay mono, hall reverb Path 2 is LA Studio Comp, simple delay mono If I try to change the hall reverb to Spring 63, it's not even there to choose. I have to clear the pitch wham to see it. Is there another work around for this? I have the guitar & Vocals panned hard L&R so I can adjust their volumes on my Mackie mixer. phil_m
You could split path 2 into paths 2A and 2B, move all your vocal stuff down to path 2B, and then have the output of Path 1 feed into Path 2A only. Move your reverb and delay down to path 2A. You'll still be able to maintain separation between your guitar and vocals this way. You actually could have them output as two independent stereo outputs if you wanted.
TexasStrat
I think the 63 Spring Reverb is a DSP Hog... it seems like I had trouble with that on the HD500 and HD500x.

Path 1 and 2 each get their own DSP, and the description above is a cool way to share tones across multiple paths.
oehman
Thanks. I forgot that each path its own DSP and wondered why deleting blocks from my vocal path wasn't giving me more in the guitar path.
dvdthw
So each path, Path1A/Path1B/Path2A/Path2B are all individually stereo?
phil_m
So each path, Path1A/Path1B/Path2A/Path2B are all individually stereo? Yes, they are. If you use only mono effects in a path, though, it effectively becomes mono, well, mono matching dual mono outputs. But if you wanted to have 4 independent stereo paths all with separate ins and outs, you could.
