Helix Upgrade help

Anyone in the San Fernando valley (I'm in North Hollywood) that might be able to lend a hand with a computer that has Windows 7 or later to upgrade my Black Screened Helix?

I was hoping someone that doesn't yet have one but wanted to try it out before buying could do this. Help flow in both directions eh😀

Let me know,

Doug

If you bought it locally, I would try the store you got it from. If not perhaps a music repair place would let you use one for a nominal fee.

Might want to invest in W7 or above if you plan on keeping the unit :)

Got it from zzounds.

It doesn't make enough sense for me to get W7 (besides this issue) as I haven't used my computer in many months (and don't really plan to use it much if any). I also don't necessarily need to always upgrade the Helix as I liked it fine but just need the Black Screen thing fixed.

Would really like to let someone demo the unit (with their own guitar, amps and speakers etc.) in exchange for an upgrade.
